Help with Destro DPS

Hello! I've been using the guides here for my destro Warlock and haven't been preforming as I feel I should be with the gear I currently have. I could use some help. I won't be able to post any logs, because unfortunately my laptop can't seem to configure world of logs.

 

Anyways. I'm pulling 12.5k-13.1k at 638 ilevel. My rotation is this:

Incinerate > Immolate for a starter, then conflagx2, and incinerate to 3.5 embers while using conflag as it comes off cooldown. Immolate stays up. At 3.5 embers I'll CB. If my mult-strike trinket procs, I usually throw dark soul with it if I can get off at least two CBs. If anything i'll throw one CB with my proc. That's the most of it. Cool downs with procs for CBs and regular ember generation. I'm not really sure what I'm missing.

No logs - no answer.  You're not using the guide and not playing correctly if you're pulling 13k at 638.  You can say what you're doing all you want, but I'll bet you a pretty penny that you're NOT doing what you're saying you're doing.

edit:  first logs is as affliction and bottom one as destro.

butcher fight that you were in and wiped on.   you didn't pre pot.   why?

dark soul useage is low and your conflag usage is....really fucking erratic.  also more uptime on immolate.

Yeah I was noobing it up that fight. No excuse except for bad play. I haven't raided in a long time so I got nervous. :P I've been working on that rotation I posted up there so I've been getting better, but I think I lack an understanding of when to use dark soul. The guide says to use it on cooldown, but also save it for chaos bolts.. Should I chain the two together? Or use one to build embers and save the next one for chaos bolts? Then just use the rest for procs with embers?

i believe this is a better use of them.  also keep in mind when lust and execute phase is coming.

 

as well as if yo uknow there's going to be a large push of movement (like having to stack and unstack for The Butcher fight.  why waste 3-5 seconds on the DS on movement)
