Do I use Arcane missiles during Burn-Phase?

Hi,

 

i just read the arcane mage DPS Rotation and I'm asking myself if i actually use arcane missiles during the burn phase or do I just spam arcane blast until 50% mana?

 

If so, is there a %mana where it's not worth to cast arcane missiles?

Do I cast arcane missiles without having 3 stacks of them during the burn phase?

This is also a question  I am asking myself.

 

So when you day "if you cap", do you mean "when you have 3 arcane missile charges"?  In your guide, you write that arcane missile  does more damage than an arcane blast charge and that it does not cost any mana. So why would we delay the arcane missile cast?

2) Is there a benefit if i race-change an orc to troll? Someone told me orc is good for frost and troll for arcane.

With the Burn phase, you want to get to around ~60% before using Evocate to get you back up to ~100 but it's not the end of the world if you Evo before or after you hit 60%. If you get missiles while burning, you will want to exhaust them before using Evo. It is a DPS loss not to use missiles when they are available and you are at 4 stacks of Arcane Charge.

 

Thanks for your link. But if i understand correctly, it is adviced to use arcane missile whenever they pop rather than using them only if we cap during the burn phase. (which is logical because we are at 4 arcane charge anyway, and the more mana we have, the harder the missiles hit).

So this is not what you were saying in your first post, that rather suggests to use arcane missile when we reach the three charges cap.

Or did i misunderstood something, since english is not my first language?
