Storm 426 Report post Posted December 12, 2014 I have a feeling, much like in MoP, that sockets are going to be the most important thing for challenge modes. Since everything scales down to 630 it won't matter if it's heroic gear, or end of the xpac 750 ilvl raid gear. What will be most important is being itemized correctly, Bonus Amor > Mastery > Vesatility > Crit. having as many bonus sockets as you can get to gem more mastery. and also third stats, mainly leech and avoidance. I have gotten a few garrison mission rewards that only have 1 stat, but double. a few of those with double mastery would be awesome for CM tanking, especially if you got lucky and got a bonus socket on it too. Pistons 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2014 As far as I know gems are disabled in Challenge Modes, just go with whatever stats you feel are best. I also have a suspicion sockets are disabled in both CMs and PGs - they appear randomly on gear and they would give the player an unfair advantage in ranked content.
