[frost] If I have full "icicles" but no "fingers of frost" proc, is it worth it to cast a proc-less "lance" to set the "icicles" off?

Is it worth it, dps-wise, to cast a proc-less "lance" in the case that I don't have a "fingers of frost" proc but a full set of "icicles?"

no because when you get full icicles, when you get another proc it will shoot one off automatically to replace it

Only "wasted" procs are either FoF or Brain Freeze when you have above 2. Excess icicles are never wasted and you need not worry about them except to switch target before firing them if it is on its almost dead and won't take the full damage.

If the target dies whilst Icicles are in the process of being fired, they stop and remain above your head!
