uhhwateva 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2014 As title suggests, I just got a new trinket and really am uninformed with regards to trinkets. I just got the one that drops off of Imperator, so naturally haste is great for Aff, so I want that... But my second slot, I have two options. The first one, is the trinket I have equipped on My Battle.net. The second is Sandman's Pouch. My logic is that while the Sandman has more flat int and a proc, the other trinket has 159 mastery which is also the main stat of Aff. Please assist. taliesin52 3 Report post Posted December 17, 2014 Not sure if its a bug or just my bad luck, but I couldn't get the Pouch to proc hardly at all today when I messing around with Affliction. I'm wondering if it doesn't proc off of periodic damage and only direct. I had no issues with Demo or Destro and the trinket. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Sometime in the later half of last week it stopped procing off of DoTs for Aff locks. I haven't seen a log or testimonial since Thursday showing it working. Bombsauce 3 Report post Posted December 17, 2014 Re: Sandman's Pouch - I switched main spec to affliction last night, and I wasn't noticing any problems with the trinket not proccing. It seemed to actually be lining up pretty consistently with my dark soul and copeland's clarity cooldown. I heard that they may have stealth hotfixed it but I wasn't able to confirm. idovoodoo 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2014 Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I have a question about trinkets as well. At the moment I have shards of nothing and sandman's. I swapped sandman's out for a 630 on use haste trinket. Now both of these trinkets are on a 2 minute cooldown. I am also using AD so I have to charges of DS. If I only use DS with the trinket, I will almost always have another charge waiting. So what I did was use the first DS as the fight started and then when it expired I immediately used it again for the second trinket as I noticed that I can't use both trinkets at the same time. idovoodoo 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2014 I agree. What do I do with my 2 haste use trinkets though? It means that I only use the other trinket once when I use the second charge of DS.
