Aggrokalle 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2014 (edited) Hi, first of all i want to apologyze for my bad english! I got some quetions about statweights for a frostmage. In 90% of the time, i play with TV as T10 talent and frostbomb, cause i really dont like the crystal and i hughly prefere to play with tempo on my gear, just cause i feel like its a smoother playstyle the closer you get to the GCD-cap.I really dont care if the PC-build is going to be ahead in patchwerk-style fight and so on, cause it just doen´t feel fun to me. Frostbomb brings a lot more skill and fun to the playstyle of a frostmage too, thats why i prefer it against the nova. I just take the nova in fights with a lot of target-switching. My questions - when tv is my talent of choice, is tempo > crit always, or just when i hit the 989 tempo? And is the nova > frostbomb when i take tv, or doesn´t it really matter? For example, i got the spire of tectus and the staff from the endboss of highmaul (dont know the english name atm). Is the spire > endbossstaff when i run with TV? Am i right with this? last question: can someone explain me why 989 tempo is so important for TV? With my current gear i get >40 sek uptime for my icy veins without spaming icelances. Where is the benefit of 989 tempo? Dont get me wrong - i love tempo as a stat the most of all, cause i just like faster casting and lower GCD. But the fact that pretty much all guids for frostmages name tempo as the weakest stat, i dont want to build my gear in the wrong direction. At least - sorry for my bad english... I hope u get the point of my questions and can help me a bit and tell me that going for tempo isnt a bad thing in my position edit: my armory with equiped spire. Btw, i got the multistrike-procc trinket from evergreen too... http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/rexxar/Aggrokalle/advanced Thanks! Oltier 471 Report post Posted December 20, 2014 You can check out the stat weights over here. http://altered-time.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=749 The most precise way to get your personal stat weights would be by simcrafting yourself! :) You can also find a guide to that on Altered-time. Aggrokalle 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2014 (edited) Hi, thank you for your answer. In deed, simcraft helped me a lot, i tried many things yesterday and hey - in almost every scenario its ms > haste > rest for me but at this point i got an other question - should i go for haste on my enchants and sockets when i can reach the 989 haste with them, or should i keep ms > all? Berlinia 168 Report post Posted December 21, 2014 With TV you can aim for 989 Haste giving you GCD cap during IV 989 cap is important because you get 50% haste during IV. This means that each GCD is 1second, effectively giving you much more TV uptime relative to spellcasts.

Ok, in fact that means that i dont go for the IV-Glyph when i hit 989 haste? Wouldn´t make this bloodlust kinda sad as you waste haste over the GCD with it? When i think about it, i dont really wanna miss the +ms on IV from the glyph... =/ Edited December 21, 2014 by Aggrokalle
