Simple Find Weakness Question

Hi there, long time rogue, first time sub rogue here, and I noticed in another post made by Carne that if there's more than 13 seconds between my find weakness procs, I should be checking to see if there aren't any cool downs I could be using to get it up. As it stands I've been using my various find weakness inducing abilities one right after the other, when my cool downs allow for this that is, as soon as the proc falls off or sometimes 1 second before to allow ambush to benefit from the previous  find weakness, however this leaves many gaps larger than 13 seconds in my rotation without find weakness being up, so my question is thus: Is there a way to delay my use of vanish/shadow dance so that find weakness ends up being up longer than burning them as soon as they're up?

Ademdum #1 Should I be pooling energy before I cast vanish/shadow dance (as an old school combat rogue it seems wrong to ever stop spamming buttons lol),or should I try to build a few CP so that I can immediately get two evis. off?

Your damage will look really low to you cause your Rupture uptime is at like 55% and it's about 15% of my damage on its own. 

 

I'm going to go into a little more detail about Find Weakness, since I'm not really clear what you mean. Once you come out of Shadow Dance, you'll have 10s of Find Weakness available (assuming that your last skill was Ambush, which it should be). So you have 9s of your attacks (BS, Hemo, and Evis) ignoring the target's armou, then 1 last second to re-apply FW with Ambush. The easiest way to do that is obviously through Vanish > Ambush, which will give you 10 more seconds of FW being available.

 

Assuming that you do that, your FW uptime still won't be great, but it's not really supposed to be, either. I get around 33-35% on a fight where I can hit something regularly. 

 

As for your Addendum, did you read through the Pinned post on Shadow Dance use? It goes into pretty good detail there.

 

Quick side note: Warcraft Logs is a lot nicer for me to use, cause I can see more details there than I can on AskMrRobot. Personal opinion, anyways. The fact that you posted any logs and know to look at them for improvements is really good
