PvE- Frost Help Requested

Hello all, love the website:)

I'm trying to see if I'm missing anything huge when it comes in terms of damage. On fights like Feng or Spirit-binder I'm expecting usually to finish in the top 5 of DPS compared to the rest of my guild. I'm usually in the top ten but I'm always trying to improve so if you can notice anything flawed with my rotation (Which I got from Icy Veins & Noxxic) or whatnot please let me know, I welcome the criticism.

Here's a report from World of Logs on our Last night MSV run (25m Normal).

I looked at Simcraft and tried to compare what percentage of what spell did the most damage.

I've noticed that my Frost Bomb and FFB show doing more damage in my world of logs, then the Simcraft T14 PW style does.So Pulling Feng as an exampleCountdown happens by MT.

Pre InvocationPoM + Frost bomb the bossMove to CenterStart Frost-bolting the boss to stack 3 DebuffsCast Frozen OrbBy this time I have the Brain Freeze Proc, and Two Fingers of FrostCast Icy Veins + Trinket (Glyphed) and Mirror Images then Alter TimeStart unloading on boss making sure I'm using up all the FoF procs and after using Brain Freeze, reapplying Frost Bomb.

After Alter Time, Mirror Images and Icy Veins wear off, Use Invocation when it wears off, I keep steady with my Frost Bolts, Applying Frost Bomb when available for Brain Freeze, and using Pet Freeze and Frozen Orb to keep supplied with FoF.

Hello there, sorry for the slight delay.

I've found a log similar to yours, just that the guy does a lot more DPS and that he is not using Glyph of Icy Veins: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rhagkw30mpw1iyos/details/56/?s=2030&e=2491

By comparing both logs, I've found two interesting things.

First, I think you're casting Ice Lance way too often. From your log, Fingers of Frost procced 44 times, yet you cast Ice Lance almost 90 times. In the other log, there are 53 procs of Fingers of Frost and 54 casts of Ice Lance.

Second, you are not casting Frost Bomb often enough. In 7min36, you cast it 32 times, the other guys 41 (in 7min41). You're not only losing damage, but Frost Bomb is the only thing that procs Brain Freeze. As you can see in your log, you got a lot less procs than the other guy, so a lot less changes to use Frostfire Bolt.
