Danoga 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2015 Hey so on the frost mage stat order im confused, Icyveins and Askmrrobot are saying things opposite from each other. Icy veins says Int > Multi> Versatility=Crit>Mastery>Haste, Askmrrobot was saying that haste for my character was Int>Multi>Haste>= Mastery>Versatility>Crit. Eariler today a better geared mage than me was telling me that Int>Multistrike>Haste to 929?Crit/Versatility I tried simming my character but i dont see a stat summary on my sim results. So i come to the forms here in hops to sort this mess out. Whats the proper stat order for a mage to follow? http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/illidan/Advikis/advanced
Oltier 471 Report post Posted January 4, 2015 AMR is a tool, not a guide. The only precise way to get your own stat priority, is by SimCrafting. To get the stat weights, you need to turn on the stats you are interested in, on the Scaling tab. Here is a guide about how to use SimC: http://altered-time.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=
TLTeo 29 Report post Posted January 4, 2015 (edited) Also realistically, secondaries other than multistrike are so close to each other and change so much with gear/talents that you shouldn't worry about them that much. That, combined with how limited highmaul gear is, means you should pretty much go after intellect, then prioritize multistrike, and that's it. That mage saying haste to 929 is wrong by the way. There is no such thing as a haste breakpoint in WoD. Edited January 4, 2015 by TLTeo

I don't remember where I read this, but mages who run TV try to get a certain amount of haste to lower the their GCD But ya go with w/e multistrike pieces you can get and shoot ice at people.
