Storm 426 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 World Class Casuals is a brand new guild formed by friends that met raiding in top 500 world guilds over the past few expansions. Many of us raided 20 hours a week pushing for as much progression as possible when we first met, but are now aiming for a more casual approach to the game. Our goals now, simply put, are to clear each mythic tier before the next tier comes out, and to do so on a much lighter schedule than we have in the past: Tue, Wed, Thur 8:30-11:30pm EST. Just 9 hours a week. We won't be raiding later than 11:30pm EST for any reason (unless we're mid attempt or something), we won't add extra nights for progression unless it's like the last week to get cutting edge. and everyone is encouraged to put real life first when it comes up. What we do want though, are top notch raiders that can study the fights before raid, learn their roles quickly in raid, take the crappy jobs when they're assigned to them, and perform at a high level. We don't have the time to put in 100+ wipes to figure out a new boss, we need people that are going to be efficient. To put an example to this, we went 4/7H on the first raid night where we finally had enough guild members to put together a full group without pugs. We 3 shot Kargath, 5 shot butcher, 1 shot twins, and 7 shot tectus. half the guild had killed those bosses in pugs before, but for half the guild that was their first time ever seeing those fights on heroic. This week we should definitely see 7/7H and we will be starting Mythic as soon as tomorrow night. we are in very high need of filling a few more spots to make a full guild 20m group. Storm 426 Report post Posted January 9, 2015 bamp updated recruitment needs, and also our progress. 1 shot heroic brackenspore last night, the first time trying it as a guild. made some really good progress on Ko'ragh in the 4-5 attempts we got. Honestly if I was better at tanking adds in the suppression fields we would have had it in those 5 attempts. Biggest need right now is to just get up to a consistent group of 20 that can make our raid times as often as possible, because mythic is coming soon. Storm 426 Report post Posted January 14, 2015 updated. had 22 people in raid last night, just need 1 more solid healer and we'll be good to go for Mythic. still want a few different ranged for class variety, but mostly at this point we're looking for 1 healer that will go well with Disc, Pally, Druid, + offspec shaman when needed. also looking for some casual/backup raiders. Storm 426 Report post Posted January 21, 2015 Updated main post. still mostly in need of 1 more full time main healer, and a couple more dps. the main post is my wish list, but I won't even be too picky at this point. We'll take any decent dps. We'll probably be starting mythic progression tomorrow and I don't want to keep pugging 2-3 people for mythic every week. good backup/casual players are also actually a bit of a need now, since we're trying to take a more casual approach to raiding this xpac, we'll often have 1-2 openings per night even when we finish our core 20man roster.
