Bhest 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2015 Hey all, First time poster but long time reader - have just gotten back into the game seriously after a long break and got a H Imp kill tonight. Lucky for me I also picked up a H CAM so that's quite nice. Would love some help breaking down my logs vs. a top 5 Surv log on H IMP (I just happened to pick the first US log I found - Hartlin @ Mug'thol) Hartlin: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/mugthol/Hartlin/advanced My armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/blackrock/Bhestz/advanced Top 5 log: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-ms96sdksbivqzcq0/details/347/?s=17063&e=17828 My log: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/i2zbeba40rcutpn6/details/11/?s=6597&e=7293 I obviously can see the 10 ilvl or so of gear discrepancy which I know will make up some of the DPS difference. (38k vs. 27k) - I also realize this is a top 5 log vs. mine which is not exactly a great comparison. However right off the bat I noticed I did a couple of things wrong it appears. -Barrage usage when remnants are up (I didn't use it enough) -My AMOC seems a little bit low (probably not AMOC'ing the right adds at the right time - could be poor CD useage on my part) -SS and BA uptime are both low - 8% and 9% respectively under the top log - also about 30 explosive shots behind -I was also using steady focus vs. ToTH (seems ToTH might be the way to go here) All in all I'm not terribly disappointed with my performance. I've missed all our N Imp kills up until this point due to work so was my first time seeing the fight. With a few adjustments next week I think I can do much better. Azortharion 60 Report post Posted January 13, 2015 In any case, you probably need to move on from WorldofLogs. I think they are (technically?) updated, but WarcraftLogs is still superior, so. Syncness 4 Report post Posted January 14, 2015 Keep in mind that most of the damage padding on Imp is from adds, but don't mistake this for damaging adds over mages/reaver or maintaining raid health because even if you're top DPS if the raid wipes because add explosions was too much then what's the point?
