2h vs dw

I see that optimally i use dw (mostly for procs?), can someone explain me why?

Also i have an issue where i before used khargaths fist from normal and the fist from lfr ilvl 540. now i got the 2h staff from tectus heroic warforged and with socket.. what is better to use? my own bet would be the staff but i havent really tried it out much yet.

If you have a HWF staff with a socket, use it.  Compared to dual wielding a 655 and a 640 1h weapons, the 676 staff has much more Agi that is worth more than the secondaries.

Simulations put 2hand above DW with the same ilevel.

Whats up with that? Shouldnt DW be king when the ilevel is the same?

 

And speaking of simulations, Simcraft puts Mark of the Shattered Hand above Frostwolf.

Can that be true? I thought that Frostwolf would get ahead at higher ilevel, but its still simming lower for me at ~660 ilevel.
