Kadill 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2015 When, and why, does haste overtake mastery as ret paladin? I know my ask Mr robot had recently switched me over, but I'm not sure if it's becauseof the recent buff to haste, or because I am starting to get a good bit of heroic highmaul gear. Vindeelol 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2015 It doesn't outweigh it, Solsacra and a few others went over this recently on the mmo forums, it will peak you and register a 40 or so dps increase right around the 15% mark but then it becomes drastically less valuable, Mastery is still your top stat, you only get haste to 15% raid buffed, then mastery. Grognard 6 Report post Posted January 18, 2015 With current mechanics, haste should never trump mastery - at least, not by nearly enough for any significant amount of rating to justify enchanting/gemming haste over mastery. With reforging gone, stat weights are really only important in min/maxing gear options, and Highmaul is exceedingly limited in gearing choices. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
