olddriver 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2015 (edited) For multi boss you basically need to just use boss1, boss2, and boss3 and their unitID. Each boss will correspond to those (if you're not sure which is which, look at boss frames on your UI and it should be from top to bottom. If you use ElvUI it's bottom to top / or use /tar boss1 to see who boss 1 is) Thanks for your help Edited February 18, 2015 by olddriver
TayTay 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2015 Weakauras noob here. I've searched and cannot find one for my hunter that tracks the remaining time on freezing trap so I know when it will break. jshb has one but I would prefer not to run an additional addon. Can you please help me out? Thanks!
Krazyito 521 Report post Posted February 20, 2015 Well, if you wanted it automated, it would take a bit of coding, but the easiest way is to make an aura that will track the debuff 'Freezing trap' on your focus and just focus your trapped target. Then it will display the debuff
Orthios 271 Report post Posted February 22, 2015 Here's one I thought of, an aura that shows how many enemies are within 8 (changeable, if possible) yards of my target. Helpful to know whether or not to AoE when I can't explicitly see where adds are at (on Beastlord and Thogar for example).

Krazyito 521 Report post Posted February 23, 2015 I'm a little confused on what you want. You want the buff to show, and then once it does show the time remaining on the cooldown? Or are you asking for the cooldown to show 1:40 for example

Krazyito 521 Report post Posted February 24, 2015 Yea, thats the simplest way. Here is an example one I have for the PBI trinket i had in SoO (Its a progress bar, one for the icon, one for the buff, and another for the cooldown) d0J3kaGEHWUuvLTPeUTOAMOKMRQkmBP60QCtfrxwY3isTmIQDIQ9c7wK9lK(Pq0Wek)MsVwryOuvunyrPHRqheL4OuvKJHIZPQslurTufyXeXYj8qIKNI8yP0ZPyIsHMkvMSQmDsxeL6QQQQNrv11vQnkk2QuWMjkBNQsFukkFMQmnLKVRQIgPuuDsHQrRenELuxIQIYTOQW1uKoVcACsr(RQYHfmyGduaoOGmGK)xS)(9VFbLd6b6bhO1rktMPuKXhnnTj)nfB6cP9VyrtlKVaY8XQPGggPmzMsbNrU8)M6pMCP9VYV0tbzQUmFU9skO5iDUiNKv2zCGeL3ztUHJfipHDpckTZDIZZRegWzaDpqJsopHDpkhu3gEWbABQV2EWyGeqcBVGdu(URhCqHcsd9kPWbkF31doOqbjcTfCGY3D9GdkuOGQ1JH0REygkOw4aNboqATwZ0dEgqCBQaz0q7eg6IOaNroiJgANWKPh8mG42ubAyKYKzkfCF00uqsSIxjKY2Tc4aNbCgWLdod4(bNb8vGh7VPqbjSAqlxTwbXJKZgKKq7eEc7o9KY2Tc4aNb8yGlh8yG7h8yGVc8y)nfkijbHu2Uvah4mGZaUCWJbUFWJb(kWzGcQBdp4ajcTfCGY3D9GdkuqcBVGdK5sE9cuZzZcRShakF31doqnYYKS0m2dWmuOGmJvlCGmxYRxGZakF31doWzWm4YXm4(XmuOG0qVskCGY3D9GdkuqBt9jS9cZG2M6R1MljOyguBpymWbYCjVEbQXb)hVrOqbPxEjKY2Tc4aNbCgWLdod4(bNb8vGZafKO8oBYnCSaDT2eiJgANWGzqATw3Ic0C)IiIG4bsR1AgBsbLrCrenRpTdprqdrZ6CGmAODctgBsbLrCrenRpTdprqdrZ6CG0lVezSjfugXfr0S(0o8ebnenRZbk0hxgaNbKeR4vI4jtPGZWa6DMXEyy8wBcu8KwczH26hXBTjZpUKVF5NP9B03XpvCPjkfKeR4vI5q7epHDe0C)IiIG4fnRZA76nc6DMXEyORwRSwYuqrZcsfNNxjGdKoCSaz0GUnGkFRKcskB6D6ztgqPqEzGdCgqSxpgsV6fn7Kx6bf0L8TeMcZG2PY3kPGcB1cABQVq)8TWmOTP(2PtXmO2TrT5FlVxbsV86bfKwRvmdsV8sGzq6LxIm9GNbe3MkqscTt8e2rPSDRaoWzaNbC5GZaUFWzaFf4X(BkuqsSIxjGeqsSIxjy)8kqCBQajXkELGUikWzwa6ATPpZ9kqdI3SM7ajXkELiszYmLc(uqgn0oHrkB3kGdCgWzaxo4mG7hCgWxboduqVZm2ddD1ADW5Tub5ZgbPxEjOlIcCg5GcV3PNnf6FQ488kHboOGKeeXtze2KIzq)8E6sWxfduAN7eNNxjmGZaAzDElvKz6c5)ongZIMyw87cPL2pK5JvsdYkUkPb9SjqnWEGlUuSW6xCEdShqSbP1ALUikWzKd6EGgLCrZET2euWLdhiz2KMPh8mGI8FhRX5Sb1THhCGeH2coq57UEWbfkiHTxWbYCjVEbQ5SzHv2daLV76bhOgzzswAg7bygkuqAOxjfoq57UEWbfkOTP(e2EHzqT9GXahiZL86fOgh8F8gHcYmwTWbYCjVEbodO8Dxp4aNbZGlhZG7hZqHcfKO8oBYnCSaf2IGKGa07mJ9WqxTwzTKPGIMfKkopVsahOuiVmWbodOgoZztMOzTYIMvxwrZMzRBrbfu72O28VL3RaPxE9GcAzDElvWz8hduAN7eNNxjmGZa6EGgLCG(590LiZ0fY)DAmMfnXS43fslTFiZhRKgu49o9SPq)tfNNxjmWbfKvCvsd6ztGAG9axCPyH1V48gypGyd6ATjibk4(HdKmBsZ0dEgqr(VJ14C2GKeesz7wbCGZGms7FL0Xw1utX830cPzw4hY8X0Pqb1THhCGeH2coq57UEWbfkiHTxWbYCjVEbQ5SzHv2daLV76bhOgzzswAg7bygkuqAOxjfoq57UEWbfkOTP(e2EHzqT9GXahiZL86fOgh8F8gHcYmwTWbYCjVEbodO8Dxp4aNbZGlhZG7hZqHcfKO8oBYnCSaf2IGKGa07mJ9WW4T2eO4jTeYcT1pI3AtMFeN3W3KNP9Rzv(3C3AFg1MQVymGENzShg6Q1kRLmfu0SGuX55vc4azSBrBTtNcAShgwcqVTiONnb63PG0HJfOY3kPG2PY3kPG0lVEGELr3Ptbn2ddlbOuiVmWbodi2RhdPx9IMDYl9GcQ8TskiPS5scA0SSA9af2IGB4ybA()mzaTn1NzS6DEiVWmiZws5BLuAlt2Tg0hl)pGLVbSNmYgy3iOTP(m2TOT2PtXmOTP(ELr3PtXmO2TrT5FlVxbsV86bYmw9opKxGA4mNnzIM1klAwDzfnBMTUffOTP(cBrWnCSWmuq3d0OKlAw5GUwBcsa9Z7PlbFvmqPDUtCEELWaodiR4QKg0ZMa1a7bU4sXcRFX5nWEaXg0Y68wQGZ4pguOG8fCMvYJbfa Basiically, you want to put them in a group. You make the one for the buff, and show the timer on the buff. Then when the buff runs out, you want the CD one to show up (using SPELL_AURA_REMOVED in the event trigger) and show the cooldown minus the duration of the buff. (so 2m = 120s - 20s = 100s for the CD buff). This is only if you want 1 icon to show up only. If you don't care that there are 2 icons up, then you just make a normal icon using Status -> Cooldown Progress(Item) Heres the example video I used to make this a long time ago. You can use this for on use trinekts as well:

Krazyito 521 Report post Posted March 3, 2015 So over at the Vox Immortalis forums, they have a nice section for Weak auras and learning custom code (Its not a request thread, more like a learn how to make your own things with ideas from others) http://www.voximmortalis.com/threads/4328-WeakAuras-Tutoring-Thread?p=33573&viewfull=1#post33573 This guy, Hamsda, replicated an aura we found for Mythic Thogar. I in-turn took that aura and edited it for use in Normal/Heroic. His skeleton of the aura worked perfectly, I just had to spend the time looking at a video to know what times everything happened. Here is the pastebin for the aura Here is a video sample of the aura in action "Note, I added a sound command to the aura that plays "Quest accepted" sound when ever the msg changes, to remind you when it does. EDIT: Hamsda took my idea and improved upon it. He made them into one aura and it now supports a sound 'on/off' switch.

ThePromise110 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2015 Maybe I am necroing a dead thread, but any help would be appreciated.I'm looking for a string that will make the icons for DK CDs like Vamp Blood active at all times while in combat, but greyed out when on cooldown, with numerical countdown for the cooldown, as well as the standard rotating CD tracker, preferably with a dark grey desaturated underlay, with a lighter grey that winds around as the CD ticks down, and the icon returning to it's normal, colored state when it's off CD.Any cooldown will do, as I can just go in and change the spell that is being tracked once a string that I can just copy/past into multiple instances is on hand. Thanks in advance!
Krazyito 521 Report post Posted March 21, 2015 Here you go. Just duplicate each aura. You can even keep them in the same group and they will line up automatiaclly, just chagne which direction it goes. daJReaGlefBdfmBLUnc7uq7f2nf7xH(PemmfzCsHHkrzWiYWPuNscXXe4COqlKkzPsiTyeLwUKEiLKNQAzsPNtyIsOAQenzPA6KUSORtvBuIWMrrBNsQFJQpJsttk67k4XuX3KinAkX4Li6WcDljQonsNxr9xQuJscLxJOAeajEesO4c8wYeqMjYeuEZYzDySrJGoJ4e4D8oK41KLYnYz7eVpBIeuh2k3BJNL0oA6zhUWPD8SKrc7nhjrD4gXijM86ijNUaFG2vlOemonvAaJtmWqZgtm0CAcmlVzP4gpHSszzZQaHb4wskRffLGXPPsdyCIbgA2yIHMttGz5nlfxKlZY4uJIllug(YJDiX9I0TZgfcqw8kFtiXj8RsHeku8oLjtQJF1ziXj8RsHekuCnUPrHeNWVkfsOqXRrNesCc)QuiHcfkuChiryaK4EJwPSSzfsCHDUByKiryBBJGwO4ALYYMviX1z7exOr1lW9I0TWcFOGbUWtRtJIBfNVD(GzKuzvoBnfIrsf725Ufb3ls3c7C3Wircx4cl8HcgCHf(qbJvC(25dgCViD7nufUW9M060O4rVYXf25UHrIeHTTncAHIV8yhs8oLjtQJF1ziXj8RsHeku8kFtiXj8RsHekuCnUPrHeNWVkfsOqXRrNesCc)QuiHcfkENkS3481Od5c8rs41KLYnYz7eN6Wn4udvD7WjS3uZocdWPDCYgRKliNAgjXnJKSQ449uevFnQjCHB8eYkLLnRcegG7W5BNpyGlOiSfsCTszzZkK46SDIl0O6f4Er6wyHpuWax4c7C3WirIW22gbT4P1PrXTIZ3oFWmsQSkNTMcXiPID7C3IG7nP1PrXJELJ7fPBHDUByKiHlCViD7nufUWfw4dfm4cl8HcMIMX(mu8Lh7qI3PmzsD8RodjoHFvkKqHIxJojK4e(vPqcfkUg30OqIt4xLcjuO4v(MqIt4xLcjuOqX7uH9gNVgDixGpscVMSuUroBN4uhUbNAOQBhoH9MA2ryaUdNVD(GbUWPDCYgRKliNAgjXzYCKKvfh34jKvklBwfima3B0kLLnRqIlSWhkyWfw4dfmfnJ9zCHDUByKiryBBJGwOqHIBncdA2gafaa

ThePromise110 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2015 (edited) Krazy, anything special I need to do to get that string working for trinkets? I can get the desaturated icon to load when a trinket is on CD, but I can't get the normal icon to replace it when it's off CD. Edit: Nevermind, resolved. Rerox 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2015 Is there a way to show WA-Elements only if I am in combat OR have a "not friendly" (e.g. hostile or neutral) target? I can only find in combat as "load"-Trigger and non-hostile target I couldn't find at all.
Krazyito 521 Report post Posted March 28, 2015 I'm pretty sure you would need a custom trigger for that to check combat or hostile target. without a custom trigger you might have to make a couple aura with some mutually exclusive conditions
Gryphoon 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2015 (edited) I've done a WeakAura that tracks my trinkets (them being Beating Heart of the Mountain and Scales of Doom. The thing I need help with is that I want the cooldown (that is displayed as an icon) to show the longest duration. I don't care which one is up or, if both are, how much left there is on the shorter one. At the moment it shows the first one, then that one goes down to 0, where upon the cooldown on the icon resets to the duration of the one left. Example:Scales of Doom procs and the icon shows its cooldown ticking down from 10. At 5 seconds left I activate Beating Heart of the Mountain. Now, the icon still only shows 5 seconds, and when they are finally up it resets back up to whatever is left on Beating Heart of the Mountain (which would now be 15 seconds). In another test I use BHotM and it shows its CD. Then SoD procs in the middle of it and the icon resets to 10, counts down to 0 (SoD uptime) then resets to the duration left on BHotM. So what I want is basically a profile that treats these buffs as one buff that is refreshed. Edited April 14, 2015 by Gryphoon
cag8f 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2015 First of all, I'm using Power Auras, which I believe is based on Weak Auras. Can I input a Weak Auras script into Power Auras without issue? I think so, but just want some confirmation. My hunter will sometimes pop out of camouflage, and I *think* it's because I've dotted up an enemy, run off, popped camo, but then the dot ticks and does more damage, knocking me out of camo. Is there a way that Power Auras can notify me when I have no active dots? Thanks in advance.

Every time you (player unit) deal periodic damage a flashing texture will pop up for 3 (can be changed, of course) seconds. You would want the duration to correspond to the duration between the ticks (approx). That would mean that the texture would never disappear if you had an active DoT somewhere. No aura would mean no DoTs. edit: This is merely a way around. I was just curious whether something like this would be possible. It is definitely not as accurate as one would want in a PvP situation (in rare cases the aura might be telling you that you have a DoT active somewhere but in reality, the DoT just ended and the aura displays it post-mortem).
