Krazyito 521 Report post Posted July 9, 2015 Hey Krazyito, I think what you're doing here is awesome! Keep up the helpful work! I need some help, I'm looking to create a weak aura to track the warrior talent/buff Unyielding Strikes. Basically Unyielding strikes is a buff we get, that stacks 5 times, that reduces the cost of our Heroic Strike. I'm looking to create a weakauras that will show each stack of the buff as a 'box' on a bar. Similar to how holy power and such resources are tracked. Something that looks similar to this. Thank you for any help in advance! dKtmmaGlQI02KK9jczMIQknxiz2kCtvv6BsyNs0Er7wk7xu5Nsk)LQW4uvUnfnurvvnyrQHRQQdkICALogfoNuLfQQIptPwmvrSCOEOOQ8uIhlkpxLopLyQKmzfnDWffvv5QIOEMu56uzJsQoovrTzsz7IQkoSQ8vrvMMk(UiOxlv1LfgnKA8uLoPiWTejxJQ6EIq9BiwgL0WivtdQO8OIaLlfREQHNQ7P(P8tz)1D8KppPJIjLjLjvu8wtt7gaRNQWAHV(XV7RQWW3ORIAPo(uSutt7gaRN6ROOYONUXPRW)RRRIAPofuUXql)JSnGYp1uQA)MFZF1vuWH9I0uw(huSXiU)uAotfETTd8LLgu2jfbWB)4szG8MurXDdpYgV7LEcfmYiOIIPBalveiqzUAABMBawOIIPBalveiqbEJOburX0nGLkceOGFzbvumDdyPIabcucV)FTzm5peOKrflnOIsgYabtflTY6fFfvFFhD)JXPs)COwk)ow2XsDcuWH9I0uw(huGWl4Wbfi8coCqjbniWAVSavsZzT2fvEXRFso87I63yUpuQWl4WXfL4z3dhEKh6fckaETTdmvuC3iFiUgWFO0EMXLkwAqj5MLngZTzNlTa4TFCjqjdX1akguYqCnO2)a)aemLeLykzUlGy6b6DguG1mMeOStkj3SSXyUn7CPfaV9JBU0us4ob0SEvpJJXNrvVIQUtN(HAPovuAotfETTd8LLguqhRnAG1919TAOxu43z1VNU(h1sDkOmqEtQOmxnTnZnalurX0nGLkceOGrgbvumDdyPIabkWBenGkkMUbSurGaf8llOIIPBalveiqGalTsfLmKbcMkwAL1l(kQ((o6(hJtL(5qTu(DSSJL6eOGd7fPPS8pOaHxWHdkq4fC4GscAqG1EzbQKMZATlQ8Ix)KC43f1VXCFOuHxWHJlkXZUho8ip0leu2jLKBw2ym3MDU0cG3(Xnx6CPTsXBnnTBaSSWNcGxB7atff3nYhIRb8hkziUgqXkL2ZmUuXsdkj3SSXyUn7CPfaV9JlbkziUgu7FGFacMsIsmLm3fqm9a9odkWAgtcus4ob0SEvpJJXNrvVIQUtN(HAPovuAotfETTd8LLguqhRnAG1919TAOxu43z1VNU(h1sDkOmqEtQOmxnTnZnalurX0nGLkceOGFzbvumDdyPIabkWBenGkkMUbSurGafmYiOIIPBalveiqGal7OII3AAA3ayPHVofCyVinLL)bfi8coCqbcVGdhusqdcS2llqL0CwRDrLx86NKd)UO(nM7dLk8coCCrjE29WHh5HEHGcGxB7atff3nYhIRb8hkTNzCPILgusUzzJXCB25slaE7hxcuYqCnGshLmexdQ9pWpabtjrjMsM7ciMEGENbfynJjbkzidemvS0kRx8vu99D09pgNk9ZHAP87yzhl1jqzNusUzzJXCB25slaE7h3CPZLUJsZzQWRTDGVS0Gsc3jGM1R6zCm(mQ6vu1D60pul1PIc6yTrdSUVUVvd9Ic)oR(901)OwQtbLbYBsfL5QPTzUbyHkkMUbSurGafmYiOIIPBalveiqbEJOburX0nGLkceOGFzbvumDdyPIabcey5HkkERPPDdGLwT6tbh2lstz5FqbcVGdhuGWl4WbLe0GaR9YcujnN1Axu5fV(j5WVlQFJ5(qPcVGdhxuINDpC4rEOxiOStkj3SSXyUn7CPfaV9JBU05sFOa412oWurXDJ8H4Aa)Hs7zgxQyPbLKBw2ym3MDU0cG3(XLaLmexdOCOKH4AqT)b(biykjkXuYCxaX0d07mOaRzmjqjH7eqZ6v9mogFgv9kQ6oD6hQL6urP5mv412oWxwAqbDS2Obw3x33QHErHFNv)E66Ful1PGYa5nPIYC102m3aSqfft3awQiqGc(LfurX0nGLkceOaVr0aQOy6gWsfbcuWiJGkkMUbSurGabkzidemvS0kRx8vu99D09pgNk9ZHAP87yzhl1jqGL(urbh2lstz5FqbcVGdhuYqgiyQyPvwV4RO677O7Fmov6Nd1s53XYowQtGceEbhoOKGgeyTxwGkP5Sw7IkV41pjh(Dr9Bm3hkv4fC44Is8S7HdpYd9cbfaV22bMkkUBKpexd4puApZ4sflnOKCZYgJ52SZLwa82pUeOKH4AafFkziUgu7FGFacMsIsmLm3fqm9a9odkWAgtcu8wtt7gal701PStkj3SSXyUn7CPfaV9JBU05s7tjH7eqZ6v9mogFgv9kQ6oD6hQL6urP5mv412oWxwAqbDS2Obw3x33QHErHFNv)E66Ful1PGYa5nPIYC102m3aSqfft3awQiqGcgzeurX0nGLkceOaVr0aQOy6gWsfbcuWVSGkkMUbSurGabcSSIkk4WErAkl)dkq4fC4GceEbhoOKGgeyTxwGkP5Sw7IkV41pjh(Dr9Bm3hkv4fC44Is8S7HdpYd9cbLDsj5MLngZTzNlTa4TFCZLox6kkzidemvS0kRx8vu99D09pgNk9ZHAP87yzhl1jqbWRTDGPII7g5dX1a(dL2ZmUuXsdkj3SSXyUn7CPfaV9JlbkziUgqPIsgIRb1(h4hGGPKOetjZDbetpqVZGcSMXKaLeUtanRx1Z4y8zu1ROQ70PFOwQtfLMZuHxB7aFzPbf0XAJgyDFDFRg6ff(Dw97PR)rTuNckdK3KkkZvtBZCdWcvumDdyPIabk4xwqfft3awQiqGc8grdOIIPBalveiqbJmcQOy6gWsfbceO4TMM2naw2v4tGaL8dlnowniqc Here you go, sorry it took me so long, was busy with other things. Kaminari 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2015 If you're awesome you'll help me out with this WA. I want a weakaura, to show a big icon, where I place it, of what marker that has been placed on me. Ideally this is for moving to a certian place when DBM or BigWigs marks you with one, so that you can easily see where you need to run. http://www.twitch.tv/pyllero/v/7051213 You can see an example here at 5:00 into the vod, he gets marked with Moon by bigwigs or dbm, and his WA shows it for him. Unfortunately that guild doesn't want to share that specific WA. I really hope you can help out with this one! :D
Verris 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2015 Hi, so I'm trying to make a dynamic group weak aura for kick rotation in our raid. I succeeded in having it show in a prog bar when another player's spell is on CD, but I also need to get it to show when a player's spell/ability is off CD. I've tried everything, but I think it will have to come down to actually making a custom lua function and I have 0 experience with anything like that. So basically all you want is for the icon that's already above your head to be shown as an aura? I can do that, but it seems a bit redundant. Give me some time, you're Number 2 in my queue. Might get it done tonight, kinda depends how I'm feeling, I've been making a lot recently. Hi, so I'm trying to make a dynamic group weak aura for kick rotation in our raid. I've tried everything, but I think it will have to come down to actually making a custom lua function and I have 0 experience with anything like that. Like the problem I see is I don't know how to make 'multiple' custom bars to keep track of that. Like I can maybe make a templete for a specific person, but then you or somebody has to go back and duplicate/edit it every single time for a new person, which would be kind of taxing. If you want the template code I'll give you something where you just need to edit the persons name and their interrupt if you want that, but in all honesty, wouldn't it just be easier to think "Hey, their bar is not there, that means its not on CD" Here is an example of what I have, it does the EXACT same thing you mention where it only shows up if it is ON cooldown: but i also took the time to Krazyito 521 Report post Posted July 10, 2015 If you're awesome you'll help me out with this WA. I really hope you can help out with this one! d4ZqeaGEvv6WIAxOkBJsojf52OYCvv1SPuNhfUjvHonrFdL4wOK2PcAVGDd1(L(PiQ)kcJJQ0OqrTouvPbJmCf41qu5uOuDmr6CqWcrvvwkvblMIslNklse5Pk9yv55eAzkKPcPjtW0jnnvLRsrrpdLY7qvfBuvfpKIkBMQA7kuFeIQMffv9zk8DuvvxxOlRYOHqJhvLlbr5Suu4AOi3JQOvk43kAyqKHuafwoyfGvaqH1FI1v(7bdTqawbP4a7md0JpfwK9G9ff1jh6XNcRFe)u5eZm7nuQuPsnuQuPss)sLYrxoXHhZJJHP3exsr8WnuQuPsLkvQudLkvQuPsLkzpFz7sY3eVYFVsEwk1QHsLkvQuPsLSNVSDj3PrhEvNeBuYZsIQtIn45pDCzL5K(No6d1ewpNF(D))JMDgNkXg)4YC3))MPjw9qwkGMDgNkXgMEtCcKjWVit4F6OpnjZxkhD5ehEmpogMEtS5ljFt8k)9yVHsLkvQuPsLCNgD4sUtJo8Qoj2OHsLkv6WcnuQuPsnCybyJy1jnmohGc7lkQtoy9J4NkN4smZEdLkvQK70OdxYpBlEnCyHgAOHgAOHgAOHgAauyLyPM4n5gyF6jadtHn)u5elcOWkXsfqHvyM4ff1jhWFW(II6Kd2C0LtC4X84yy6nXL8SewAdkOWQoPHX5auyvgdoyFrrDYbBeFJpScBoQtyVXhwH1CiM1sE8efZghSpeVhYbBCGqwpyFrrDYLqzm4GvuZAue2xuuNCW6hXpvoXmZEdLkvQudLkvQuo6Yjo8yECmm9M4sEwc5p1dzPaA2zCQjSWXhZjnWoZ4CjXo)0qPsLk5on6WLux8A4Wcn0qdn0aOW6od5eJYyWbRE8PWY)sbfr4hRVuVEr67Z6ZYlsiyHe4Z6htWIJCOoPHX5eHHPWkfG1JMrjtMl5HWI4jnquHFSyZYILrSzHq6OpeSS(aFw)SGLVK99fpfg(9XZYYcbegL6LfMG1EMfauyfK((Yx0wzaOWYfTvjGckOW6M2hGclx0wLakOGcRMTpScOWYfTvjGckOW6YVdqHLlARsafuqbfwgj77lEkmmfjV8ydjwSszj1llmbkSIWoIxkpK4XeRmXQHx2(mRxZYgSJHHPFJsbfaa This triggers all the time. Verris 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2015 Like the problem I see is I don't know how to make 'multiple' custom bars to keep track of that. Like I can maybe make a templete for a specific person, but then you or somebody has to go back and duplicate/edit it every single time for a new person, which would be kind of taxing. If you want the template code I'll give you something where you just need to edit the persons name and their interrupt if you want that, but in all honesty, wouldn't it just be easier to think "Hey, their bar is not there, that means its not on CD" Here is an example of what I have, it does the EXACT same thing you mention where it only shows up if it is ON cooldown: but i also took the time to color code it so it looks nice. If you still want a template I'd be more than happy to do that for you (You are Queue 3 btw) Thank you so much, I'll have to learn a bit of lua on my own some time, but this is gonna go a long way. Much appreciated.

Brewmonksta 157 Report post Posted July 13, 2015 Yo Krazy Thanks for helping us, the more lazy! Can you by any chance whip up a Disc 2piece buff tracker showing stacks and duration. Orthios 271 Report post Posted July 14, 2015 Little Request here, i have no idea how to do one of these, i would need a weakauras to display the range between me and my target (hostile targets) ... if you need any more information just ask Range between friendly and hostile targets isn't possible, as hostile coordinates are hidden from players, except through very roundabout ways. I suggest you get the addon Range Display. However, this does bring up something that I wanted, which is similar, but I'll offer a means to do so: Getting range through the distance/rate equation of D = V * T, where T is the difference in combatlog timestamps and V is the projectile velocity (which is part of the spell data). Valnum 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2015 Hi,Im trying to create in 2 parts a Weak Aura.1) First part im just trying to create a Weak Aura that loads and unloads correctly if I have active absorb (any shields) on me.I have the text working, and the basic aura loads, however it doesn't unload correctly.http://pastebin.com/gVw4pCAJ 2) Wishing to modify the above so I can do layers of the circles.So..inside dot would be when I have any absorbs active on meinside circle would be when I have >10k of absorb on me.next circle after would be when I have >20k of absorb on me. Those value will likely change, but that's the general goal.Keen to know anyone thoughts or help with this.
Krazyito 521 Report post Posted July 19, 2015 # 2 im not entirely sure how to work out. when ever I do custom auras, I usualy just stick to 1 aura with an icon or text. Never really cross between 2 auras. For the untrigger part, basically you never set an untrigger conditions =P You need to add code for 'custom untrigger', so if your absorb amounts = 0, return true for the untrigger. Also your custom trigger on your circle the return is worng i think, WA expects only a return true or false
Valnum 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2015 Thanks Kraz, went back with a fresh mind and managed to figure it out. It's here if wish to see: http://pastebin.com/gVw4pCAJ Changed it to become a Custom : Event Type [status]Check On : UNIT_ABSORB_AMOUNT_CHANGED Simplified it to the below. function() local absorb = UnitGetTotalAbsorbs("player") if absorb > 0 then return true end return false end So it has 3 layers;1 Absorb = So if there is any absorb > 0 then will show up, with the number in middle2 Absorb = If there is any Absorb greater than 10,000 (can change this as you wish)3 Absorb = if there is any Absorb greater than 50,000 (can change this as you wish)Just like the idea of have a shield barrier on my tank, like the old x-wing vs tie fighter games. Thanks for the help! Akamayu 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2015 Hey Kraz. Not read through all of this so you might have already made a weak auras for this. Sorry if so. I'm a hunter trying to make a focus bar. I've gone through some youtube clips to learn Weak Auras and it has been a great success. But when i got to my Focus bar i found a video on a Rage bar. He did an interesting thing! Currently using this. d4tMfaGEvvOBdr7cjvBdj2hvImtvvYHbA2cEOqPCEe6AuX3GWOuvvTtkAVk7gW(L(PQQ0Wi04OsDzrdvvLAWOgoO6GcL0PuvfhtvohvslKO0svvvwmPQLtYIuvrpvLhtWZr0NvvMkfMmcMouxeu0vrs5zKY1H0gjQ(UqXMfY2Ps4JujQzHutJuzEcLyKQQGLrKrtumEqHtkuQUfO0Pb5EijRKQ(Rq1VP07nJDi3ryhHzSJ4FJIit8mH9HaXUilawEa8JC3FPMXVIDtyUtpOk2SbRAgZ8n5UFUQdHBhjrDApnnkUUiyD0MP0Ktr6rbHMgfrnjessIUUiyD0ntTjxNBrn3AUsruYrYTJ2BrW6qzM6MCDuEssu00qOHq89K0weSoAdVlybjmJDyWqcGNXoKObm0mgE4DOKzCHaij5KDNcuiNXoKObm0mgE4DcbqsYzSJec4lK7(bQzAaZ)n8ocqrrqcObmXzSdjAadnJHhEhkzgxWIupiEYUtzd5m2HenGHMXWdp8ov(bzbmicp3bIQa1dQ2bbaHJlyrcpK4KWmF7WjmWYTa4DWea6djigsyhgczQKBbW7Gja0hsqmKWocqKWdGensyG)vgH3vEhiaesqmKfyg7qccbmJDOKzCbBWQMS7eSbR6FtofeVNKokoIAoAsoIVfbRJ2ocOkqmKfy3BhMi8CNakj2IChmMP4osbWqsCMVDGb4YaotXDKcGHegZ8TJ4mf3jydwLStocnDie152TOMBkiEouweSoi2jydwLlp5ossiqiIWTOecNhfDAlcwhD7eSbRYGi8CNakj2ICNGnyvYrbe2PsmQcOCekGagYc8F4k7NkjjPlRE0L)E0L1)Old(OlRKOl)jrxwVeDzqP)uF5YLlxF5YLlhScGHYWdGetv8iRakzzQktnai8VTXKQ))t4bqIP6N0LF)P(YLlxU(YLlxoyfadLvjb6YFQmbOlRpGMLPQSiTiTy9LlxUC9LlxUmuuz4bqIPkEKvaLSCSqvznNYyzsG6lxUC5YLlxwLeOl)PYeGUS(aAwMQYpArAX6lxUC5mqMqrLHhajMQ4rwbuYYUevLFIILXYKa1xUC5YLlxUSkjqx(tLjaDz9b0SmvLfPF0I1xUC5YzGmRVC5YLlxUCzvsG(tLjaT(aAwMQYsoo0pj30ILlxF5YLlNaeQVC5YLvjgvbuwLeOl)PYeGUS(aAsx(vFcqO(6RV(6RV(6RV(6RV(6RV(6RV(6RV(6RV(63PSyqCotXDc2GvfRZ8n8W7WkOVVunJDyIWZDKyqmk5U0fjaE3VTXKQDWTXKkmr45mL2HsMXrbGWt2DOaPlsa8oquSDhkzghUnMuHjcpNSdVdsWcm97aqrAOG((sf5mF7GiStUvaLCxmqeWYmtnkUUddHmvh0pMZ8rzNmj0Nm4zk5m8oYDsu)rDrQ7SZfZ8Pt6n8ga Now what he did and i am trying to do is make a custom animation for "main". This is supposed to show me a red focus bar when it goes below 35 focus and a green when it goes above 100 and in between a normal brown/orange focus color. I am not familiar with Lua so just taking what he wrote and kinda changed it a little. function(progress, r1, g1, b1, a1, r2, g2, b2, a2) local player_focus = UnitPower("player", 1) local red, green, blue = 0,0,0 if player_focus <= 35 then red, green, blue = 1,0,0 elseif player_focus >= 100 then red, green, blue = 0,1,0 else red, green, blue = 255,128,0 end return red, green, blue, 1 end What happens is it all just turns red, or yellow or something else. Only changes when i change the first if return. Can't this code go above 1 in RGB colors? or ? don't understand ;( Hope you can help and thanks in advance! Manager 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2015 Hey i was looking for working weak aura that shows yards range to enemy target. There was some weak auras but none seems work. I know there is addons but I wanted weak aura for that. It's not possible.I already did that here: https://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/9948-weak-auras-ask-here-for-help/?p=109395 The best I can do for you is based k your own spells (either greater than 40y or less than. Not exact) A guild hunter recently asked for this, for his Marks class trinket. Give this a try: http://pastebin.com/q7RamG8h You might want to disable the slide in animations. You can also just rip out the Range Radar text weakaura, if you don't like the bars.
Manager 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2015 (edited) Kraz, I am getting things setup to swap over your raid cooldown notification weakaura, but noticed that it isn't working for any class not stated in the Actions Init code. For now, I just added in the remaining classes: aura_env.classTable = { -- Table for storing the spell icons. an '!' indicated single target cooldown which will include the name of the person who sent the aura. [1] = { -- Warrior "114030" -- Vigilance }, [2] = { -- Paladin "6940", -- Hand of Sacrifice "1022", -- Hand of Protection "114039" -- Hand of Purity }, [3] = { -- Hunter "" -- Vigilance }, [4] = { -- Rogue "" -- Vigilance }, [5] = { -- Priest "33206", -- Pain Suppression "47788" -- Guardian Spirit }, [6] = { -- Death Knight "" -- Vigilance }, [7] = { -- Shaman "" -- Vigilance }, [8] = { -- Mage "" -- Vigilance }, [9] = { -- Warlock "" -- Vigilance }, [10] = { -- Monk "116849" -- Life Cocoon }, [11] = { -- Druid "102342" -- Ironbark } } ---- Is there any chance you could make me a custom display that tracks the time since the aura has been triggered, and then uses that to send chat messages at certain times? What I have in mind is to pair this new WA with your raid cooldown notfication WA, to do automated CDs during specific parts of fights. For example, I have a WA that triggers when Gorefiend casts Feast of Souls (and hides after 60s), but I would like it to output certain CD messages after X seconds. This would be to a custom chat channel (say "Formality"). This way I would have to do absolutely nothing, and the raid CD notifications would be sent at the correct times, every intermission. I made a similar setup for Blackhand Demolitions, but it involved many weakauras all hiding at specific times, and saying a chat message On Hide. *Weakaura triggers *Says: "Manager, 92452" after 5 seconds "Helcion, 14252" after 15 seconds ...etc.. Something similar to your Thogar assist weakaura, but much more simple: http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1729040-Weak-Auras-Yet-Another-Thogar-Assist-Looking-for-Feedback Edited July 24, 2015 by Manager
Krazyito 521 Report post Posted July 24, 2015 Raid cooldown notification version 2.1.1 (its stated in the name of the aura on my pastebin) will work for ANY spell. The things in the Actions -> On Init is only for single target spells, where it will attempt to display the name of the person who sent the message. is there any chance you could make me a custom display that tracks the time since the aura has been triggered, and then uses that to send chat messages at certain times? All you need to do is just make a custom trigger, (that only happens when your aura shows) and use this function SendChatMessage("msg", "CHANNEL", nil, "Channel-Name") so for example SendChatMessage("Krazyito, 774", "CHANNEL", nil, "Formality") You could also send the chat msgs 'on hide' to the specific channel, which should be much simpler than a custom trigger. The problem with this is that you have to set it up for every single fight, nad each individual cooldown, and then if your roster changes, then you have to update it and its a pain in the butt. Which is the reason I got support from the Exourus Raid Tools guy, to make it easier for me to just click what I want, when I need it. Does that answer your question? Adding in their classes made it work for them. ---- What I am looking for is something like: local time = GetTime() - initial_time if time = 15 then SendChatMessage("Krazyito, 774", "CHANNEL", nil, "Formality") elseif time = 25 then SendChatMessage("Manager, 123", "CHANNEL", nil, "Formality") elseif time = .... etc Edited July 25, 2015 by Manager

I'm not sure what you mean by 'damage' You just want each tick to show up as it happens? Also what would be the point of this? Does managing flame shock go beyond just keeping it up? Theres no snapshotting any more, so it would useless during a proc. Help me understand why this would be useful and i can more easily think of a solution. Leut 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2015 When i am Multidotting at some bosses i have to mouseover the debuff of the target in order to check the damage that is dealt. For example at the pull of a bossfight with prepot and unleash flame i cast flameshock on my target and the debuff says "Suffering 10125 Fire damage every 2,4 sec. When i stack 2 elemental fusion buffs + unleash flame + legandary ring and cast my flameshock then i will do more damage for sure . I just want to see the Damage in order to recast my Flameshock more effectively.
