Fardel 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) Hey everyone, I've been struggling with my HPS since the raid came out, especially on Imperator. I usually raid with a disc priest and monk and the occasional holy paladin. Here is my armory page, http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/zuljin/Fardel/advanced Here is my more recent log from tonight. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/dLtA7VRzkYmwr9nK#boss=1705&wipes=1&type=healing I changed to SotF instead of Incarnation tonight and my healing improved a little better. I see all these other druids destroying the meters while I'm lagging behind. I've followed the guide on here but I feel like I'm still not performing to my maximum capacity. Brady84 4 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Need to see logs from a full run preferably, but i had a quick look through your other logs that are up and your 4 healing 12 man normal & heroic, no point in even looking at HPS because until you drop a healer or get another 8 dps in your not even needed in the fight [and no amount of improved gameplay is going to increase HPS by more than about 1-2k] e.g. Normal twins you do 15k at same ilvl I did 32k, HC Brackenspore your only doing 28k even though your not even setting the green mushrooms off I would argue that at 12man you could more than likely 2heal kargath & brackenspore [and 3 heal the rest] because I 4 heal 20man and regularly have 40% overheal due to the lack of damage
SoulLord 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2015 Here are a few things that can help improve your healing Lifebloom uptime: the attempt I see has you at 62% it should be much higher set up your favorite addon to remind you when its about to fall off Harmony buff: looks great. clearcasting: this is free healing it seems you wasted it a few times if no one needs it at the very least you can use it to renew your lifebloom on a tank. If I have time I'll do a more in depth analysis
sonie 7 Report post Posted January 20, 2015 As stated by Brady84, you are overhealing the content, and especially with Disc Priest and Holy Pala. You are going to do low healing under these conditions. Try running less healers / more people and post some logs from that and we can look at that instead.
Fardel 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2015 (edited) Hey guys got new logs for M Kargath, constructive criticism is welcomed! https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/bTnJ1vjXq9fdF8wg/ Edited January 23, 2015 by Fardel
sonie 7 Report post Posted January 23, 2015 Now we have something to work with, but keep in mind. Kargath is not our strongest fight! Harmony was only at 78.35% uptime, you need to maintain it all the time. Your Tranquility did very low healing. Your Kargath is twice as long as my kills, but you only did 4 more WGs than me and you have a lot of Rejuvenation casts. With DoC try to cast more Wild Growths and less Rejuvenations. And more Wraths to compensate for the extra mana. Try to keep Germination up as well on the current tank, it will help you a bit, I see you don't really use it for tanks. Nature's Swiftness was only used once, you should take advantage of that more, it's a free Regrowth that does more healing than a normal Regrowth. But as I said, don't expect to be first on this encounter as a druid, but these are some things you can improve on.
Krazyito 521 Report post Posted January 23, 2015 Nature's Swiftness was only used once, you should take advantage of that more, it's a free Regrowth that does more healing than a normal Regrowth. What are your thoughts on HT vs RG (with and without glyph) with Natures swiftness. I've been using it (and recommending) it with Healing touch, but its something I don't think I've ever tried to test between one or the other. I usually stay away from the Regrowth Glyph because to me, the guaranteed crit isn't worth it when it has a 60% base crit anyway. I'd rather have the utility of Rebirth or Stampeding Roar. I've been using it (and recommending) it with Healing touch, but its something I don't think I've ever tried to test between one or the other. I also stay away from the Regrowth Glyph because to me, the guaranteed crit isn't worth it when it has a 60% base crit anyway. I'd rather have the utility of Rebirth or Stampeding Roar. An unglyphed Regrowth initial heal heals for me with just stats 18043 and an additional 5299 as hot. A HT heals for 29898. Healing Touch has + 20% chance to crit on Lifebloom target, however usually you wanna NS someone that doesn't have Lifebloom, someone that drops low. Regrowth always has a 60% extra crit chance, plus lets you use the target as Swiftmend target for SOTF which I play a lot with. So in conclusion, if Regrowth doesn't crit, then HT will be better, but usually it crits, and this extra crit chance together with Living Seed is quite big too. Krazyito 521 Report post Posted January 23, 2015 I started testing it with 0 gear and started seeing in ggeneral, regrowth healing for more.. Only if the healing touch crits would it make a difference, but not even that big of one. So yea, ill start using it on RG
Fardel 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2015 So I took everyone's advice into BRF and these are the most up to date logs. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/zCbHQqp6Z8X3D4Ak/#fight=12 Pretty happy with the results. Anymore constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.
