You should be aiming to reapply your DoTs as soon as they drop off. You could maybe delay doing it if you're literally one cast away from entering your eclipse, but in most cases you just recast them immediately.

Just after a really quick cursory glance, your Moonfire/Sunfire uptime seems to be slightly low, around 89% on Juggernaut. You should be aiming to have this as close to 100% as possible, although I understand with knockback etc. on this fight you may have been out of range for a while. As the poster above said, you should be going for whichever haste breakpoint you can comfortably reach and then more or less stacking crit after that, reforging into mastery shouldn't be done until you have 10289 haste and can't reforge into crit on a particular item. I also note that you have one of the

Just copying my post from the WoW forums: Essentially, our raid team is somewhat divided at the moment on whether to continue full clearing SoO for the chance at heirlooms or just work full-time on Heroics. Now a potential solution we came up with was to clear up to Paragons of the Klaxxi, bring a few alts in for that fight, then switch back to mains, leaving us with 2-3 alts all with saves at Garrosh which we can then use in future weeks to skip up to him. However...I do know that Heroic raid IDs do work differently, will killing some of the earlier bosses on Heroic cause the lockout to

We've really only had 1 good night of attempts on heroics so far, but personally our group found Norushen to be a fair bit easier than Immerseus. As others have said, Immerseus requires considerably more effort mechanics wise, while Norushen is just either a difficult healing or DPS check, depending on whether you use 2, or 3 healers, respectively.

Just putting in that, using Dark Simulacrum on Wavebinder Kardris in the Dark Shaman encounter will steal Froststorm Bolt. This scales with frost DK mastery and can crit in excess of 1m damage easily. Using the glyph is recommended to lower the CD.

LF Summary of MoP for DPS DKs....Back from14 mo break--
Lestaris replied to grant82's topic in Death Knight
It really depends on your gear. At BiS iLevels (high 540's), most other classes will outperform you assuming everyone plays correctly. In LFR/Normal ToT gear, you should be more or less on par with everyone else. Edit: That said, it's not a huge difference (~10%), and shouldn't worry you too much. At my iLevel (525) I can sustain about 140-150k DPS depending on the fight and overall luck with procs. For a rough summary of the order of DPS classes, you'll want to check here. http://raidbots.com/dpsbot/ -
LF Summary of MoP for DPS DKs....Back from14 mo break--
Lestaris replied to grant82's topic in Death Knight
Hey there. Off the top of my head, I think DPS rankings were something like 2H Frost ≥ Unholy > 1H Frost, but they're all fairly close so it doesn't matter too much. In a raid I would say they're fairly useful, bringing 2 buffs, a potentially very useful raid CD (AMZ; if talented), pretty good sustained and burst damage, and decent survivability (AMS is extremely useful for many things, as well as a large self-heal CD, etc). One point to note, if you play at that level; All three DK playstyles (Unholy, Frost 1h/2h) are currently simming at pretty much the bottom of the DPS rankings for B -
So I don't really have anything to add; having never played a priest healer, but just wanted to say that this thread is a nice change from the usual impatience and negativity slung around, against players who are doing their honest best effort to improve. To Taldryx, congrats on your fairly massive improvement , and good on you for accepting all criticism and suggestions and not getting defensive/making excuses like so many players do. Everyone here who put so much effort into assisting should be commended as well.

Is anyone reading this topic correctly? Everyone seems to be skipping over the poor guy's actual question: "What's the deal with the new rune speed? Has anyone else experienced this?", and instead launching into an explanation about rotation and DPS. As he has said, he has a rune speed of 9.36 with a haste rating of 6527. Meanwhile, my Death Knight has a rune speed of 8.55 with a haste rating of 7211. Clearly there is some kind of inconsistency here (UI error?? o.O), which is what he is asking to be explained.

To do a World of Logs parse, go here: http://www.worldoflogs.com/Make an account, and register yourself to a 'guild' so you can upload logs. Download the client by clicking client near the top right. When in-game, type /combatlog then go run your LFR. Once you're done, open the WoL client and upload your combat log, which will probably be located at C:\World of Warcraft\Logs\WoWCombatLog.txt. Once that's done, just drop us a link to it here and people can take a look. If any of that is confusing, perhaps someone else can explain it better. Onto your rune speed issue, I'm not sure why you

This sounds somewhat confusing...could you post a link to your armory please?

Using Soul Reaper should not be a DPS loss for you. Keep in mind that Soul Reaper does approximately the same amount of damage as Obliterate, but using only 1 rune instead of 2. There might be an instant DPS drop since the initial hit does not do much damage, but the damage once the effect expires should make up for it.
-
Just clarifying, does this mean I should only Obliterate to get rid of one Unholy rune, and then proceed to use frost runes on Howling blast instead? Presuming it's to take advantage of Runic Empowerment, but just like to make sure
