My progression is currently only on normal so I can't help a lot, however: Butcher - your raid is mostly stacked. If you need more healing, you can expirement with level 90 talents. Brackenspore - note that the buff from mushrooms is got approx every 2 minutes, which makes sanctified wrath a great choice. It makes a huge dps burst combined with Seraphim. Tectus - single target gradually changing to aoe fight, I would go for Divine Purpose. Note the adds in the first phase can be stunned. Twins - I agree with everyone else that double jeopardy is a good choice here. Learn to walk between

Hi, just a quick question. Did anybody experimented with bubble and arcane wrath on imperator? Does it remove the debuff completely? Does it force to jump immediately? Does it just protect you from the damage? I tried to use it a couple of times yesterday when I was on Imperator for the first time but I was not entirely sure about the results.

With a paladin the difference has to compare physical damage and holy damage. CS = 100% physical damage. Hammer = 42% physical damage to current target + 24% to all other targets Note that you will need 3 targets for Hammer to do the same damage as CS. However, most of it will be holy damage which has some bonuses over physical damage so you should definitely start using Hammer on 3 targets. Now, I am not really sure how mastery (hand of light) affects the difference. I believe that with more mastery the difference between CS and Hammer can be so big that Hammer will be better wit

Thanks of the updates, my thoughts from retribution point of view. 1. Blinding light - not a big loss. I was using it only for RP and I hope they will make a glyph to still have the ability for role playing. 2. GoAK - I will really miss this ability. Not from DPS point of view but it was the coolest one 3. Hand of Salvation - I won't miss it at all. 4. Inquisition - missing inquisition will make the rotation a bit too simple. 5. Frankly, they should also remove Emancipate which is duplicated by Hand of Freedom.

Don't level up a new profession if you don't want to. Profession perks were helpful when the gear was around 490 item level (remember Mogushan Vaults). However, with higher item level the importance of professions is much lower. 3 healing normal, when one of the healers has heroic gear, doesn't seem to be a good idea. If you have two healers over 560 item level, 2-healing should be possible for any fight (maybe some exceptions where 3-healing makes the fight easier, like Galakras). Make sure your dps are using their defensives in periods of heavy damage. From your gear, I would say tha

Some tips: 1. 3-healing the encounter makes it much easier. It enables your raid to split a bit more. It enables you to dispel faster. 2. Use healing cooldowns during the first phase. 3. Your healers should use cleave trinkets instead of spirit trinkets. The fight is very easy on mana (they will get to full mana during every split phase). As for tactics, in the end we found it easier to get all the adds out immediately. The more adds you have, the more aoe you can do on them. Note the timing - you get a swirl immediately after you get the adds, so everybody should be stacked by the w

I cannot agree more for aoe fights. We finally got to HC Spoils and the combination of Divine Purpose and 4pc is a miracle. With the Divine Storm Glyph you feel like back on Cata, just constant divine storms.

As a warlock, you have only 4 jobs to do - give people healthstones, give them stamina, dps and move out of aoe :) Some other advices for the raid: On 10 it's definitely a 3 healing fight. The fight is based on 1 premise - you have to be stacked up to enable the heals and get mines conveniently close to each other (tanks can handle them easily if the mines are not too far from each other) but you can't be stacked up too much because then you start taking too much damage from aoe on the floor and ricochet. During the 2nd phase - you need people topped before the first shock pulse an

How to maximize Spirit of Chi-Ji? And other stuff..

Being a good healer doesn't mean having high HPS, it means having high HPS and not getting oom :) However, in progression fights it's not strange to be sometimes really low on mana. The key for druid healing is to keep using your free-cast procs from lifebloom for nourish/healing touches... and innervate yourself on cooldown. -
Your raid composition is not ideal for this fight. You have high damage classes but no classes who could help with higher survivability. That means that bad luck (several stone prisons in a row on 1 player) will wipe you easily. I would definitely replace one of your hunters (or other ranged) with some other class. Some options: 1. A 3rd healer. An obvious choice because this fight on HC is very healing (and mana) intense. Note that you have to heal 7 people including a tank. A healer class that can provide damage reductions would be awesome (e.g another paladin). A restoration druid can help

True, it feels wrong. I remember when I had full ToT retribution gear, I could just switch to protection, grab onehand and a shield and go tanking normal without problems. If I am not mistaken, in WoD the gear is supposed to change depending on current specialization so we can only hope they will tune up the gear correctly because you won't be able to choose a gear build any more (no reforging, limited enchants and gems).

Hi, I just got another set item yesterday and I am trying to figure out if I should use my 580 helm and stay without 4pc bonus or use my 561 set helm to get my 4pc set bonus. I don't have big problems with aoe and frankly, there are not many aoe fights in SoO so I want to concentrate more on single-target. How good is the 4pc set bonus for single-target fights? I did some tests but the free divine storms didn't feel very well in my rotation and with that 40% haste I have (and 2800 haste for 20 secs every 2 minutes from herbalism) I felt I didn't really have chance to use them.

Garrosh 10m Normal is right there yet so far away...

Red crane - dps should never attack the add before the tank taunts and turns the add away from the dps. When the add is killed, always move from the stairs fast. Getting stunned in desecrate can be a problem but your healers should handle it (if they are not undergeared). Make sure they dispel after MC. We had some problems when players were applying dots on mind controlled players (poisons, diseases) and healing them later was a bit hard without a dispel. However, the biggest problem is usually the movement. Ranged to tack for desecrate, everybody to stack for mc and everybody to stac -
I don't think there is a fight when selfless healer is not the best option.

This is pretty optimistic. I see guilds on my realm already planning on Mythic raiding, getting more players etc but this is one of the silliest ideas ever. First, when WoD comes, there will be a period of levelling, gearing up, raiding normals. This period will take at least 3 months, I guess. So no Mythic 3 months after WoD comes. For the release date, I am 90% sure it will be September-October. First of all, the development is still in very early stage and it's already February. Second, releasing a game during summer is something you don't do. Summer is the weakest marketing period of t
