The Loa sub-racial selections are now updated - apologies for missing these!

You are correct! I am working on a large overhaul and update to the 8.1 guide. I wanted to hesitate until it was confirmed on some drop rate data as I very much dislike putting things up that are not 100% proven. I found it odd that trying to win as fast as possible was actually counterproductive to obtaining cosmetic items, but sure enough - it was true. Big update coming that should encompass all that is to obtain in the island expeditions! You are correct - I always tell my teammates to stop going after Azerite and to beeline for the special event that seems to trigger when we a

They had to make the Warfront commander change considering Warfront cycles will be nearly 2-3 weeks. They couldn't hold that up for too long. I'll be updating both things very soon.

We pulled this off last night with a large group of mostly pugs. Prioritizing adds in the right order is SUPER important. My tips are... Use two interrupts to get one of the Hexxers into melee range and pummel it. Interrupt, but DO NOT STUN. You want to save your stun for when it hits 100 energy and tries to cast an ichor. You can remove the ichor mechanic from the melee Hexxer by stun locking it after it hits 100 energy. If you stun it before, you will hit stun diminishing returns and get a melee range ichor which will be bad. We actually got both Hexxers into melee range and bl

Yes, I mis-spoke and forgot you start with one champion! Thanks, will fix.

The small adds in phase 1 are untankable - we alleviated this issue by stacking when Eye Beam was not happening and loosely spreading when it was. We cycled through a Capacitor Totem, Shadowfury, and then whatever leftover stuns we had. Having a DK here to grip all of the adds together would be invaluable (we did not have one). A Monk's Ring of Peace would also be incredible (also did not have this). This was pretty much all that phase 1 was other than not dying to Ragnaros circles v2.0. If you can, stack the adds on the boss for cleave damage. This speeds the fight up a good bit which y

This fight is VERY challenging with low quantities of players as it seems that whether you have 10 people or 30, 3 Vectors come out - which can be really destabilizing for ten people to juggle. We could have done a better job of managing the debuffs, but it seems, based on forum responses, that our small group was not the only one to encounter difficult healing checks with smaller groups. A friend of mine went from 15 to 25 people and the fight became nearly tank and spank as the vectors were easier to pass around and the lingering infection debuffs were much easier to manage. TL;DR - b

Thank you! I will be doing updates to keep things up to date as more information is gathered. I wasn't sure on the PVP weekly rewards until today, so I'll be getting that in!

Did MOTHER this evening with a mix of previous mythic raiders and some brand new players who never raided before. Comp was 2x Prot Paladin, Disc/RDruid/HPally healers, and Warlock, Mage, Boomy, Rogue, Retadin, Spriest, Hunter, and Ele Shaman (2/3/8). We sent over players as soon as the adds were killed from the previous pack. I sent over in the following order... Prot Paladin/Rogue Frost Mage/Hunter Disc Priest/Ele Shaman Spriest/Rdruid Boomy/Retadin Prot Pally/HPally/Warlock Send people over as soon as the tank in the next room calls for adds t

Did Taloc this evening with a mix of previous mythic raiders and some brand new players who never raided before. Comp was 2x Prot Paladin, Disc/RDruid/HPally healers, and Warlock, Mage, Boomy, Rogue, Retadin, Spriest, Hunter, and Ele Shaman (2/3/8). Fight was relatively easy with a 1 shot with a group average item level of 339.5. Leaving red puddles in the center of the room really complicates things, so be diligent about moving them out. Other than this mechanic, nothing else was difficult. Save Bloodlust for the end to just speed up the encounter. Intercepting the adds in the last phas

Thank you for this catch. I'm in the middle of updating everything! Will fix.

We will find out soon enough! Not enough participants on the beta to truly test the timing out - such as how many resource contributions needed, length of how long each faction holds it, etc. Once we get some timings, I'll be updating the guide. For now, if you're Alliance, be sure to kill the world boss. If you're Horde, be making those contributions! Ten turn ins (War Resources, gold, and 8 profession related) for 150 rep and 500 Azerite each!

If you find Affliction boring, take Siphon Life and Creeping Death - you'll be updating DoTs left and right constantly. I'm currently leveling my Paladin to give my guild a tank to use to help gear friends up - wow is Retribution crushing things. Mobs used to take 5-6 casts as Destruction to kill - Retribution can literally one shot things with a good Templer's Verdict and can crush packs of 4-6 with Divine Storm -> Wake of Ashes -> Divine Storm -> Judgment -> Divine Storm. It's insane. The power of some other classes makes me hopeful for some AoE buffs for Affliction and m

Are you sure that you aren't encountering a new mission type called "stealth" which reduces the success chance of missions when you add troops? None of the champions should decrease your success rate when accompanied by troops - be sure to check if the mission is "stealth" impacted.

I'll be working this week to look at enemy HP values in Mythic vs PvP to see which is more efficient. It'll be curious to see what % modifier they used for each and if it changed from release.
