Anemo Elemental Reactions, Resonance, and Characters in Genshin Impact

The Anemo Element in Genshin Impact represents the power of wind. It is one of the seven Elemental types in the game. Anemo abilities are primarily focused on crowd control and grouping, swirling elements, exploration, and supportive utility.

Anemo is often associated with freedom, agility, and the ability to navigate the world with ease. Its Elemental Resonance allows Anemo characters to move swiftly, use less Stamina and have faster cooldowns making them valuable assets in both combat and exploration.

Anemo has the following reactions when combined with other elements:

Anemo only has a single yet powerful type of reaction called Swirl. Swirling deals Elemental DMG of either Electro, Pyro, Hydro or Cryo while also spreading that Element to nearby enemies. This allows any of those 4 Elements to create an Elemental Reaction on nearby enemies. Many Anemo Characters also Absorb elements while using an Anemo Skill or Burst.

Elemental Absorption can be found on some Anemo abilities allowing you to absorb any of the Swirlable elements. That being Pyro, Hydro, Electro and Cryo. The Anemo effect then becomes infused with the Element which deals Elemental DMG of that type on top.

Some examples include:

• Wanderer's Jade-Claimed Flower which grants buffs based on what Elements are absorbed.
• Kaedehara Kazuha's Kazuha Slash which continues to deal Elemental DMG for the remainder of the Burst.
• Venti's Storm of Defiance which reduces an enemies Elemental RES by 20% for the absorbed Element.

Anemo's Elemental Resonance is Impetuous Winds which can be activated when at least 2 Anemo characters are in the party. This Decreases Stamina Consumption by 15%, increases Movement SPD by 10% and Shortens Skill CD by 5%.
