Introduction to the Dendro Element in Genshin Impact
The Dendro Element in Genshin Impact represents the power of nature. Dendro characters excel at applying the Catalyze status effect, which provides additive damage based on the elements involved. Additionally, Dendro also excels at Bloom-related reactions. It is also worth noting that while wooden items and grass can trigger Burning, they can not trigger Quicken or Bloom.
Dendro characters often have an association with the Elemental Mastery stat, helping to increase the damage of their Elemental Reactions. The Dendro Resonance also focuses on increasing Elemental Mastery based on which Reactions occur.

Dendro has the following reactions when combined with other elements:

| Bloom | (Dendro x Hydro) or (Quicken x Hydro) | Creates a Dendro core which will later explode. Also enables the reactions Hyperbloom with Electro and Burgeon with Pyro. |
| Burning | (Dendro x Pyro) or (Quicken x Pyro) | Applies a Pyro DoT in a small Aoe while also applying Pyro to nearby enemies. |
| Quicken | Dendro x Electro | Simply applies the Quicken aura, allowing for Aggravate and Spread to occur. |
| Spread | (Dendro x Electro) Quicken x Dendro | Adds additional Dendro DMG to your attack when Dendro is applied to the Quicken aura. |
Dendro Cleansing and Dendro Status
At the time of writing this, only Kirara can apply Dendro to themselves and no character can apply Dendro to other characters. The Dendro status itself has no effects but will enable Burning to occur if your character interacts with Pyro.
Applying Dendro to yourself can not safely cleanse any other element.
Dendro Resonance Sprawling Greenery
Dendro's Elemental Resonance is Sprawling Greenery which can be activated when at least 2 Dendro characters are in the party. It has the following effects:
- Increases Elemental Mastery by 50.
- After triggering Burning, Quicken, or Bloom reactions, all nearby party members gain 30 Elemental Mastery for 6s.
- After triggering Aggravate, Spread, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon reactions, all nearby party members gain 20 Elemental Mastery for 6s.
- The durations of the aforementioned effects will be counted independently.
