Fischl Guide and Best Builds for Genshin Impact
Fischl is a 4-star Electro Bow character in Genshin Impact. Their main role is that of an off-field Electro Sub DPS who can be incredibly powerful in Aggravate teams.
Fischl Introduction
Fischl Strengths and Weaknesses
- Very little field time required
- Strong battery for your team
- Consistent Electro Application due to their 4th Ascension passive
- C6 provides a significant damage boost
- Weak personal damage with Oz providing a large portion
- Unreliable in Hyperbloom teams
Both of Fischl's builds are currently very similar with the main difference being the focus on Elemental Mastery for Aggravate builds. The Golden Troupe artifact set is a huge DPS gain for Fischl while making both builds easy to farm for.

Combos and How to Play Fischl
As an off-field Sub DPS, Fischl will often have very little screen time with the majority of her damage coming from Oz, her summon. Oz can be summoned using either your Elemental Skill, Nightrider and remains as a result of your Elemental Burst, Midnight Phantasmagoria.
Because both Nightrider and Midnight Phantasmagoria will summon Oz, you are able to have high uptime by consistently alternating whether you use your Skill or Burst. Always make sure to keep an eye on cooldown timers and bursts to help maintain Oz uptime.
When using Midnight Phantasmagoria, exercise caution. Unlike many characters, Fischl has next to no invincibility frames during her Burst so enemy attacks can still kill you while you have limited control over your movement.
Fischl Best Team Comps
As an off-field DPS, Fischl is flexible in a wide range of team compositions such as Aggravate, Taser and Overload.
Fischl Aggravate Teams
Main DPS | Sub DPS | Sub DPS | Support |
---|---|---|---|
Nahida | Fischl | Zhongli | |
Yae Miko | Nahida | Fischl | Baizhu |
Focusing on Spread and Aggravate damage is a great way to play Fischl. Generally, teams contain two Electro characters especially with Nahida in the party because of Nahida's' powerful Dendro application. This however is by no means a requirement. Characters such as Tighnari and Dendro Traveler can also be powerful.
Fischl Taser Teams
Main DPS | Sub DPS | Sub DPS | Support |
---|---|---|---|
Wanderer | Fischl | Xingqiu | Beidou |
Taser teams are also known as Electro-Charged because of the reaction of Hydro and Electro. An Anemo character such as Wanderer or Heizou will help to drive any Elemental Reactions in a team composition such as this. The important thing is having two Sub DPS with powerful elemental application to provide these elements.
Fischl Superconduct Team
Main DPS | Sub DPS | Sub DPS | Support |
---|---|---|---|
Eula | Fischl | Rosaria | Diona |
Superconduct teams are often more overlooked due to not many Physical characters being available. Fischl's Electro application onto Cryo creates a Superconduct reaction and lowers enemy's Physical resistance by 40% making characters such as Eula deal high damage.
Fischl Overload Team
Main DPS | Sub DPS | Support | Support |
---|---|---|---|
Yoimiya | Fischl | Beidou | Bennett |
Fischl in Overload teams works incredibly well with Yoimiya providing a consistent flurry of Overload reactions and Bennett provides additional attack buffs as well as Pyro resonance therefore further increasing damage.
Fischl's Ascensions, Talents, and Constellations
Fischl Ascension Passives and Materials
Unlock | Ascension Passive | Explanation |
---|---|---|
With Character | Mein Hausgarten | When dispatched on an expedition in Mondstadt, time consumed is reduced by 25%. |
1st Ascension | Stellar Predator | When Fischl hits Oz with a fully-charged Aimed Shot, Oz brings down Thundering Retribution, dealing AoE Electro DMG equal to 152.7% of the arrow's DMG. |
4th Ascension | Undone Be Thy Sinful Hex | If your active character triggers an Electro-related Elemental Reaction when Oz is on the field, the opponent shall be stricken with Thundering Retribution that deals Electro DMG equal to 80% of Fischl's ATK. |
Fischl requires a range of materials to ascend to the 6th ascension. Starting from the second ascension they gain additional Attack as their bonus stat giving a total of 24% increased Attack at the final ascension. The total cost to upgrade all ascensions is:
Source | Quantity |
---|---|
Mora | 420,000 Mora |
Boss Material | 46x Lightning Prism |
Ascension Material | |
Local Specialty | 168x Small Lamp Grass |

Fischl's Constellations
The two most valuable constellations are Fischl's C1, Gaze of the Deep, and C6, Evernight Raven. This is because they both provide additional attacks from Oz. With Gaze of the Deep providing Normal Attacks and Evernight Raven providing Electro Attacks. Evernight Raven also helps improve Oz uptime which is very useful.
