Talent Priority

  3. Normal Attack

Kazuha's build focuses entirely on Elemental Mastery and Energy Recharge to get the most out of his kit. Therefore weapons which provide Elemental Mastery are best for Kazuha's build such as Freedom-Sworn and Xiphos' Moonlight. In situations where you are struggling to gain enough Energy Recharge to consistently burst you may consider a weapon such as Favonius Sword or Fleuve Cendre Ferryman.

Build Kazuha with Viridescent Venerer which is by far his best set to allow him to further support the party. With Elemental Mastery main stats, weapon and the bonus from your 6th Ascension, you will already have over 800 Elemental Mastery giving you at least a 32% damage bonus from Poetics of Fuubutsu before you even need to worry about substats. Ideally when building Kazuha, aim for around 1000 Elemental Mastery.

Kaedehara Kazuha Energy Recharge Requirements

The exact amount of Energy Recharge you want will depend on your team and if you use Chihayaburu once or twice between each burst as well as if you simply tap or hold Chihayaburu.

Aim for around 200% - 215% if you tap Kazuha's skill twice in a rotation, you can lower this amount if you hold your skill or if someone in your team is using a Favonius weapon.

3.

Combos and How to Play Kaedehara Kazuha

The goal with Kazuha is to provide massive buffs to the party so that your DPS and Sub DPS deal significantly more damage. This comes in 2 main ways:

  • Through the Viridescent Venerer artifact set.
  • Through triggering swirls and activating Poetics of Fuubutsu which gives a ~30-40% DMG bonus to the swirled element.

The important part to be aware of, is both of these effects trigger based on which elements are swirled and Kazuha therefore needs to swirl when the enemy has the elemental aura of your damage dealer.

Chihayaburu is Kazuha's main source of crowd control due to the fact it can pull a range of enemies towards him. This also causes Kazuha to jump in the air allowing you to perform a stronger plunge attack dealing damage based on the absorbed element.

Kazuha Slash is incredibly powerful providing the majority of Kazuha's damage as well as applying an absorbed element which is why it is so important to have enough Energy Recharge. This can help your team with additional elemental reactions. You just need to be careful that the right elements are absorbed.

3.1.

Should You Tap or Hold Chihayaburu?

Kazuhas Elemental Skill, Chihayaburu has different effects and utilities depending on if you tap or hold the skill. They generate different amounts of energy, pull enemies in more and even different amounts of elemental application.

You want to hold Chihayaburu whenever you need more powerful grouping or additional energy. Otherwise tapping the skill will allow you to swap to the rest of the party faster and deal more DPS.
