Lynette Support Build

Lynette is primarily used as an Anemo support character with her Elemental Burst offering teams an enemy taunt ability. She can be further utilized as a support through her first Ascension ability to buff her teammates' ATK and her C1 can be used to group enemies together. However, Lynette does fall short when compared to other Anemo support characters such as Kaedehara Kazuha and Faruzan.

Favonius Sword is a great choice for Lynette, providing a significant increase to your Energy Recharge which is her primary focus as a support character. Sacrificial Sword is a great alternative to lower your Energy Recharge requirements. Alternatively, Freedom-Sworn provides good team support skills for increased damage. Lastly, the Fleuve Cendre Ferryman is fantastic F2P option with a focus on Energy Recharge and a boost to CRIT Rate on elemental skills.

As for Lynette's artifacts, we use the Anemo set Viridescent Venerer, unless we have another Anemo character who is already equipped with it. If that is the case then we move on to the next best set for her which is Emblem of Severed Fate. This set focuses on her Elemental Burst damage as well as helping with the high Energy Cost of her skill. If you have Lynette at C6, you can pick up the Marechaussee Hunter set which will help to boost her Normal Attack and support her playing on-field more. However, as we have stated before there are better choices for an on-field Anemo damage dealer. As you select whichever loadout you prefer for Lynette, keep in mind her high ER requirement of over 200% if she is the only Anemo character on your team. This gets lowered as you build in other battery characters such as Fischl or a triple Anemo team to help support the ER requirement.

Combos and How to Play Lynette

Lynette's playstyle centers around her Elemental Burst, Magic Trick: Astonishing Shift. This skill offers a decent amount of AoE Anemo DMG as well as a taunting ability to keep nearby opponents off of your team. It also buffs your team's ATK depending on how many matching elemental character types are in your party However, the most useful component of this Elemental Burst is the ability to absorb and spread other Elements around the battlefield. When this interaction occurs you also gain more attacks, helping to spread the combined elemental damage even more.

Typically, Lynette is played as an off-field DPS character with her Elemental Burst and Skill used as part of setting up a Elemental Reaction combination. Lynette field time is short, usually just long enough to gain the benefit of her weapon skill and her ability, then she is taken off-field until her skills have recharged. This can change into more of an active roll if Lynette has her C6 which adds Anemo into her Normal Attacks, creating a much more active playstyle.

Lynette's Best Team Comps

Lynette has the challenge of being character that isn't overly sought after or played. Unfortunately for her, there are multiple better choices for a Anemo support and even with her C6, Lynette still falls short. For the team selection below, we have kept her role focused on support and helping to spread elements with her Elemental Burst.

4.1.

Lynette Quickbloom Team

Support Sub DPS Sub DPS Swirl
Lynette Xingqiu Nahida Kuki Shinobu

This Quickbloom team has such fantastic synergy with a particularly helpful reaction between Lynette and her Elemental Burst to help spread Elements on the battlefield. Add Xingqiu and Nahida together for creating Bloom seeds and this team is ready for Kuki Shinobu to trigger the seeds with her Electro abilities.

4.2.

Lynette Freeze Team

Support Sub DPS Sub DPS Cryo Support
Lynette Kamisato Ayaka Sangonomiya Kokomi Shenhe

A very straight forward Freeze team with Kokomi providing superior Hydro application for our our Cryo duo to take advantage of for freezing enemies in place. Shenhe also acts as a buffer, adding more Cryo Damage to our standard and charged attacks. Lynette plays a unique role on this team by helping to spread whichever element is needed around the battlefield with her Elemental Burst's ability to absorb another element. Overall, this team has some great flexibility and should keep everything locked down in ice.

4.3.

Lynette National Team Variant

Support Sub DPS Buffer Main DPS
Lynette Xiangling Bennett Tartaglia

This national team variant uses Lynette instead of characters such as Kaedehara Kazuha is quite strong using Bennett's powerful buff along side Lynette's Swirl and Anemo RES Shred using the Viridescent Venerer set. This creates the perfect environment for Tartaglia and Xiangling to function as our combined damage dealers to trigger some huge Vaporize reactions with Hydro and Pyro elements.
