Natlan's Tribe Reputation System

In Natlan, each of the 6 Tribes have their own reputation system as well as rewards, but share their own Reputation EXP. Unlike previous regions, each Tribe only has 4 Reputation levels to hit max.

2.

How do you Unlock Natlan's Reputation System?

To unlock Natlan's Tribe Reputation system, you need to complete the Archon Quest, Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame in Chapter V: Act I - Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn

To reach level 1 in any of the tribes in Natlan, players must gain 500 Reputation EXP which can be gained from Tribal Chronicles quests, Natlan Quests and World Exploration.

2.1.

World Exploration

In Natlan, World Exploration for factions is actually subregion specific. Meaning completing say 20% of Natlan in general does not grant you Reputation EXP. Instead players need to explore the region surrounding the tribe.

  • Nanatzcayan, Children of Echoes: Tequemecan Valley
  • Huitztlan, Scions of the Canopy: Coatepec Mountain
  • Meztli, People of the Springs: Toyac Springs
  • Tlalocan, Flower-Feather Clan: Quahuacan Cliff
  • Mictlan, Masters of the Night Wind: Tezcatepetonco Range

20%, 40% and 60% completion are required to gain Reputation. This will give you 200 Reputation EXP as well as 2 Sanctifying Unction.

2.2.

Tribal Chronicles

Tribal Chronicles are faction-specific questlines for Natlan that grant the players Reputation EXP. If completed within the event time limit, they will also grant players with ascension materials for that faction's 5-Star character.

3.

Weekly Bounties

Bounties are unlocked at Reputation Level 1 for each tribe individually and can be completed by accepting a bounty from the Reputation NPC in a specific Tribe.

Once you arrive in the area, all 3 bounties have a difficulty selector which grants more rewards depending on the difficulty. A total of 3 bounties can be completed each week with that limit being shared between other nations as well as Tribes inside of Natlan.

4.

Supply Notice

Supply notices are unlocked at Reputation Level 1 for each tribe individually. Just like Bounties, these can be accessed by speaking to the relevant NPC for that Tribe.

3 Requests will become available which ask you to obtain items to hand-in for Reputation EXP for the faction you are currently interacting with. All 3 requests are shared between Nations and Natlan Tribes with the Supply Notice items also being the exact same for each Tribe.

5.

Gifts from the Speaker's Chamber (Reputation Rewards)

Gifts from the Speaker's Chamber are a new reward system added which provides rewards for each Tribe that is currently at the max Reputation rank of Level 4.

This provides rewards such as Namecards, Gliders, Recipes and "Special" gifts which are not yet known until the final Tribe is added.

What are Blazing Flint Ores Used For?

Blazing Flint Ore is a unique item given as a reward when you reach rank 4 in any Tribal Reputation. Each Blazing Flint Ore is used to upgrade Pyro Traveler's constellations, making them useful outside of the weekly boss battle.

Any Blazing Flint Ores you have are used when offered to the Throne of the Primal Fire in Ochkanatlan.

As it currently stands, there are only 5 tribes and therefore your Pyro Traveler can only hit C5 until a future update gives us the last tribal reputation.
