The latest beta leaks have unveiled more details about Escoffier, one of the upcoming characters in Genshin Impact, who comes equipped with a unique cooking-themed gadget tied to her Hold E ability. This quirky but powerful feature gives you the freedom to cook whenever and wherever you like!
How Escoffier’s Cooking Gadget Works
When you hold Escoffier’s Elemental Skill (Hold E), a cooking gadget activates, gradually progressing through a cooking meter as elemental attacks are performed. While this is still beta information, and things can be changed until release, here is how it works for now:
- Hold E with Escoffier to spawn the cooking gadget.
- Each elemental attack increases the cooking progress by 1. This works as well with other characters. You do not have to do the Elemental Attacks with Escoffier.
- Once the progress bar is full, a random food item is created.
- The pot will light up with the icon of the corresponding buff.
- The generated food provides beneficial effects just like regular cooked meals.
- You can obtain up to 7 cooked food items per week using this ability.
- If you still have weekly cooking attempts remaining, you can continue cooking without reactivating the Hold E.

- 3-star Frosted Autumn Equinox
- 4-star White Waves Brushing the Sand
