Introduction to the Pyro Element in Genshin Impact
The Pyro Element in Genshin Impact represents the power of fire. Pyro boasts seven different Elemental Reactions allowing for a wide range of gameplay mechanics from a single Element.
Pyro often has gameplay associations with dealing damage as well as its Elemental Resonance increasing ATK. That being said, there are also healers and shielders in the Pyro roster.

Pyro Elemental Reactions
Pyro has the following reactions when combined with other elements:

| Burgeon | (Dendro x Hydro) → Bloom x Pyro | Immediately detonates a Dendro Core dealing AoE Dendro DMG. |
| Burning | (Dendro x Pyro) or (Quicken x Pyro) | Applies a Pyro DoT in a Small AoE while also applying Pyro to nearby enemies. |
| Crystallize | Geo x (Pyro or Hydro or Electro or Cryo) | Picking up a Shard created by the Crystallize reaction will create a Pyro shield for your character. |
| Melt | Pyro x Cryo | Deals either 1.5x or 2x damage based on the order in which the Elements are applied. |
| Overload | Pyro x Electro | Creates an explosion dealing Pyro DMG and knocking enemies backwards. |
| Swirl | Anemo x (Pyro or Hydro or Electro or Cryo) | Spreads and Absorbs Pyro. |
| Vaporize | Pyro x Hydro | Deals either 1.5x or 2x damage based on the order in which the Elements are applied. |
Pyro Cleansing and Pyro Status
Some characters have the ability to apply Pyro either to themselves or to your on-field character. The Pyro status itself has no effects but will enable other Elemental Reactions. For example standing in grass will cause Burning or being hit by Electro will cause a knockback and damage from Overload.
Abilities such as Bennett's Fantastic Voyage which Imbues a character inside the AoE with Pyro, allows you to be able to "cleanse" any Elemental Status already on your character.
Pyro can safely cleanse Cryo and Hydro but will create reactions if used against Electro and Dendro.
Pyro Resonance Fervent Flames
Pyro's Elemental Resonance is Fervent Flames which can be activated when at least 2 Pyro characters are in the party. This makes your characters affected by Cryo for 40% less time and increases ATK by 25%.
