The Repertoire of Myriad Melodies mode is an anticipated content update in Genshin Impact, building on the rhythm game events from past updates and turning them into a permanent part of the game. This mode expands on the concept by introducing new instruments, new features to the a track editor, a collection of rewards and a system for sharing music with other players.

With the track editor, you can even compose your own beatmaps, test your rhythm skills, and upload your creations for others to enjoy. Additionally, you can explore tracks made and uploaded by the community. For players who have participated in previous events, this will be more of the same content featuring many of the tracks you have played before.

While the full details of the Repertoire of Myriad Melodies’ unlock process are still unknown, it is expected to begin in Mondstadt. Players can look forward to learning more about this feature in the coming week as additional information becomes available.

Once you have decided on a song to play, you can then select a difficulty. Each song comes with 4 different difficulties each being shown by the number of stars present up to 10-Star difficulty. Only the first 3 difficulties of the song provide players with the new currency used to purchase cosmetics in the shop.

Once a song has been selected, simply select the relevant notes when they align with the circles on-screen. Mobile players simply tap, keyboard and controller players have designated buttons that are instead used. Some notes are a simple tap, ones that are connected horizontally need to be tapped at the same time and notes connected vertically need to be held.

When browsing the Score Exchange, you can filter through a selection of preferences to help find the songs that best fit you. This includes filters such as:

• Difficulty
• Layout
• Control Types
• Note styles used in the song
• What Album the song is from

The most important thing with all Rhythm Games is your offset, if you feel like the notes are not lining up with the music, you can go into the settings to adjust the offset so that it sounds perfect for you. The best offset for you will depend on your device and any peripherals you use to listen to the game!

Aside from that it is generally just practice, start by clearing lower difficulties until you can comfortably gain high if not full combos and then continue to increase the difficulty. You can even do this with user-created songs if you like specific soundtracks, some beatmaps will have varying degrees of quality however and it may not necessarily reflect the difficulty you are currently at or may simply be off-beat.

Some styles of songs can also be more difficult on certain devices. For example songs that use 6 lanes can be harder for controller. If you are struggling with specific types of notes, you can also create a custom song with the aim to specifically practice what you are struggling on.

Song creation is also possible in Repertoire of Myriad Melodies allowing you to create your own custom songs. You can adjust the speed of the song as well as how regularly you can place down notes along any of the available lanes alongside other features such as the type of note and the ability to trial.

A maximum of 1200 notes can be placed on a single track which is more than enough.

There are a range of rewards available from the Repertoire of Myriad Melodies which includes the following:

• New instruments: The Ukulele and Djem Djem Drum
• New titles that can be displayed on your profile

The Ukulele and Djem Djem Drum can each be purchased for 150,000 mora from Djembe Studios from the People of the Springs in Natlan.
