Tequemecan Valley 5.0 Exploration

Tequemecan Valley

In Patch 5.0 of Genshin Impact, players can explore the Tequemecan Valley, one of the four areas currently available in the Natlan region. The Valley is home to the Nanatzcayan tribe, as well as a plethora of treasure chests, puzzles, and challenges for players to encounter.

On this page, players can learn more about what exploring the Tequemecan Valley has to offer, such as where to find special puzzles or wandering Monetoo. More information will be provided following the release of Patch 5.0!

Tequemecan Valley's Statue of Seven

The Statue of Seven for this area is located to the northeast of Natlan. This Statue of Seven is the closest to the Hypostyle Desert of Sumeru. After interacting with a Statue of Seven for the first time, it will light up the surrounding area and make the nearby teleport waypoints visible on the map.

Whenever players find Pyroculus by exploring in Natlan, they can exchange a certain amount to upgrade the Statues of Seven' overall level. In doing so, players will receive valuable rewards such as Natlan Shrine of Depths Key, Primogems, and Acquaint Fate!

For more information about Natlan's Statues of the Seven and Pyroculus, please check out our dedicated guides here!

Boss Enemies in Tequemecan Valley

Players can fight the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King in Tequemecan Valley. It is a mighty Yumkasaurus that has survived since ancient times and seen countless battles. It owes its huge size to its rampant gluttony.

The closest teleport waypoint is located underground near the Statue of Seven at Basin of Unnumbered Flames. Players are recommended to unlock the next closest teleport waypoint from the Ancient Watchtower domain. From that teleport waypoint, there is a valley gap nearby where players can descend, leading to the underground teleport waypoint, as well as the Boss Arena.

By defeating the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King and collecting the treasure rewards, players can receive the boss-exclusive Character Level-Up Material Overripe Flamegranate, along with other materials, artifacts, Companion EXP, and more. The Overripe Flamegranate is used to ascend the following characters:
