Combos and How to Play Yelan
While off-field for 5 seconds, Yelan enters Breakthrough dealing a powerful Charged Attack. It will however apply the same amount of Hydro as any Charged Attack.
You can also reset Breakthrough when using Lingering Lifeline's hold functionality. This will be indicated by the bracelet on Yelan's right arm glowing blue.
Lingering Lifeline is also a great skill to group enemies in combat. You will generally use Lingering Lifeline before swapping to your Elemental Burst, Depth-Clarion Dice. From there, simply swap to other supports or your Main DPS to deal high damage while the Dice provides Hydro application.
Yelan's Best Team Comps
Yelan's powerful off-field damage allows her to be incredibly flexible in a wide-range of team compositions with the Hydro application being beneficial in many Vaporize, Dendro and Freeze teams.
