Lunara's Talent Build Cheatsheet
Noxious Blossom Build
RecommendedLunara's Noxious Blossom Build turns her into a sort of hybrid damage class. Your main focus should be keeping up stacks through Basic Attacks thus activating the damage portion of Choking Pollen to deal some great burst damage.
Standard Auto Attack Build
BeginnerThe Standard Auto Attack Build is where Lunara shines the brightest. Focusing on
enhancing her auto attack damage, Lunara can quickly stack up Nature's Toxin, activating
Choking Pollen's extra damage. After level 16, Lunara
can shred tanks through
Invigorating Spores.
Nature's Toxin Build
SituationalThe Nature's Toxin Build enhances Lunara's trait damage. Focus on stacking up her poison on all enemies rewards you greatly once at 3 stacks, slowly withering the enemies down. Leaping Strike is the most viable Heroic ability due to the small burst damage it has and also allows you to stick on a target in case they were to flee.
ARAM Build
ARAMThe ARAM Build enhances Lunara's trait damage. Focus on stacking up her poison on all enemies, as it rewards you greatly while at 3 stacks, slowly withering the enemies down. Leaping Strike is the most viable Heroic ability due to the small burst damage it has and also allows you to stick on a target in case they were to flee.
Level 1 Talents for Lunara

After remaining in a bush for 5 seconds, Wisp's vision radius is increased by 200% and reveals the surrounding area.

Nature's Toxin reveals enemies for its duration.

After not Basic Attacking or taking damage for 2 seconds, increase the Move Speed bonus of Dryad's Swiftness by 10%..
Discussion
Sentinel Wisp provides an incredible amount of vision
and stealth-detection as long as the Wisp remains hidden in a bush. This can be
used to secure Objectives or to scout out the enemy team.
Natural Perspective is a very useful Talent, which
allows you to follow the enemy team's movements and warns you in time, should
enemies try to engage on you. Keep in mind that it also makes landing
skillshots for your allies a lot easier, since the
vision from Natural Perspective enables them to predict the movement paths of
their targets.
Hippity Hop offers a significant Movement Speed boost which allows Lunara
to rotate around the battlefield much more quickly. This prevents her
from getting caught out of position and allows her to follow up
on her teammates more easily.
Level 4 Talents for Lunara

Increases Noxious Blossom's range by 25% and its radius by 20%. Blossom Swell applies 2 stacks of Nature's Toxin to enemies hit.

Increases Nature's Toxin's damage by 125% to non-Heroes.

While at least one enemy is afflicted by Nature's Toxin, heal for 9 (+4% per level) per second. When an enemy Hero has 3 stacks of Nature's Toxin, increase this healing by 19 (+4% per level) per second.
Discussion
Nature's Culling is good when clearing Minion waves in
order to relieve lane pressure. By the same token, it causes Lunara to deal a
significant amount of extra damage against enemy Structures and Mercenaries, which makes her a
very strong pusher.
Blossom Swell increases
Noxious Blossom's radius
and range, making it easier to hit and is very useful when playing a Noxious Blossom Build.
Siphoning Toxin is only recommended in Quick Match when your team
does not have any Healer. In competitive play,
it is only recommended if you already have a decent lane clear Hero
and Nature's Culling wouldn't provide enough value.
Level 7 Talents for Lunara

Using Noxious Blossom causes Lunara's next Basic Attack to hit up to 4 enemies. These extra attacks can apply Nature's Toxin.

Noxious Blossom deals 100% more damage to enemies afflicted by Nature's Toxin, increased to 175% against enemies with 3 stacks.

Using Crippling Spores increases the damage of Lunara's next 4 Basic Attacks by 70%.
Discussion
Splintered Spear is a useful tool to spread
Nature's Toxin on several enemies at the same time.
This Talent can have outstanding synergy with
Unfair Advantage at Level 16.
Choking Pollen adds a huge chunk of
burst damage to Lunara if used correctly.
Wild Vigor usually performs worse than
Splintered Spear
in terms of actual damage increase. Wild Vigor only adds a bit of
additional single-target damage and should be picked
if that is what you need.
Level 10 Talents for Lunara

- Mana: 35
- Charges: 3
- Recharge Time: 15 seconds
Send forth vines that deal 184 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in a line.
Stores up to 3 charges.

- Mana: 50
- Charges: 2
- Recharge Time: 20 seconds
Leap over an enemy, Slowing them by 80% for 0.35 seconds and dealing 271 (+4% per level) damage.
Stores up to 2 charges.
Discussion
In this section we discuss when and why to pick a given Heroic Ability. If you want to read how they work in detail and/or you are looking for some tips on how to use them, check them out on the Abilities and Strategy page.
Thornwood Vine is a strong poking
ability, which allows Lunara to spread
Nature's Toxin
from a safe distance. Due to its large casting range, Thornwood Vine enables
Lunara to outmatch most other Ranged Assassins.
While not team fighting, Thornwood Vine is also a
great tool for clearing Minion waves very quickly. However, always track the
number of charges and make sure to have
at least 1 charge ready before major
team fights.
Leaping Strike adds a lot of mobility to Lunara's kit,
which allows her to escape dangerous situations more quickly. Thus, it is our
prefered choice when playing Lunara as it offers her a lot of utility.
During the animation of Leaping Strike, Lunara gets some
Unstoppable frames.
If timed correctly, Leaping Strike can be used to negate some enemy Abilities
(notably
Temporal Loop by Chromie).
It is quite important to carefully observe the enemy team's position before
using Leaping Strike. Do not use Leaping Strike if it would
position yourself close to the rest of the enemy team. Instead, use it as an escape
mechanism or to finish off retreating enemies.
Level 13 Talents for Lunara

Casting Crippling Spores while at least 2 Heroes are afflicted by Nature's Toxin reduces the cooldown by 4 seconds.

Increases Crippling Spores' Slow duration by 1 second and causes it to no longer decay.

Every 30 seconds, gain 75 Spell Armor against the next enemy Ability and subsequent Abilities for 3 seconds, reducing the damage taken by 75%.
Can be toggled to allow or prevent this talent from triggering automatically.

- Cooldown: 20 seconds
Target an ally to remove all damage over time and disabling effects from them and Lunara. For 2 seconds after, the duration of disabling effects is reduced by 50%.
Discussion
Let Them Wither paves the way for incredible late-game damage output
since it prevents
Crippling Spores from decaying. Combined with
Unfair Advantage at Level 16, this will greatly improve both Lunara's damage and
chasing potential.
Abolish Magic can be a very useful Talent if the enemy
team is heavy on crowd control, such as Stuns,
Slows, and Roots. Furthermore,
it also counters damage over time effects like Kael'thas's
Living Bomb,
which can be crucial to save an ally's life.
Greater Spell Shield is an incredibly useful Talent if
the enemy team has a lot of Spell Damage at their disposal.
If you diligently keep it disabled and only activate it when needed, this Talent
can reduce the damage potential of Heroes like Jaina
or Chromie significantly, so make
sure to carefully analyse the enemy team's composition.
Endless Spores can give some good value if you manage
to keep at least 2 Heroes affected by Nature's Toxin. If the enemy team has
a heavy backline for example, this Talent should not be picked.
Level 16 Talents for Lunara

Reduce the Mana cost of Noxious Blossom from 60 to 40. While at least 1 enemy Hero is afflicted with Nature's Toxin, Noxious Blossom's cooldown recharges 75% faster.

Increase Lunara's Basic Attack range by 0.5. Using Crippling Spores increases Lunara's Basic Attack range by an additional 2.25 for 6 seconds.

Crippling Spores grants 30% Attack Speed for 6 seconds. Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes with 3 stacks of Nature's Toxin deal damage equal to 1.5% of their maximum Health.

Nature's Toxin deals 60% more damage to Heroes that are Slowed, Rooted, or Stunned.
Discussion
Unfair Advantage is a quite reliable Talent,
since Lunara's
Crippling Spores can be manually activated
to Slow enemy targets, which would then cause them
to take increased damage from her
Nature's Toxin.
Star Wood Spear allows Lunara to attack from a large
distance. This prevents her from exposing herself to the enemy team, which is
very important for squishy Ranged Assassins in general.
Invigorating Spores causes Lunara to attack faster and deal more damage
to Heroes with high maximum Health. If the enemy frontline is too tanky,
this Talent is great to constantly pressure enemy Heroes and taking them down.
Accelerated Contamination adds a big QoL buff to Noxious Blossom
and should be picked when going for a Noxious Blossom Build. The recharge rate allows you to dish
out more Noxious Blossoms, equalling into more damage.
Level 20 Talents for Lunara

Thornwood Vine now applies 2 stacks of Nature's Toxin. Increase Thornwood Vine's range by 30% and Lunara's vision radius by 35%..

All Leaping Strike charges are returned every 15 seconds. Leaping Strike can be used on allies.

At 3 stacks, Nature's Toxin deals 40% more damage.

Activate to increase the Movement Speed bonus of Dryad's Swiftness to 80% for 6 seconds.
Discussion
Forest's Wrath can only be taken
if you went for
Thornwood Vine at Level 10.
However, if you chose Thornwood Vine, the benefits coming from this Talent are too important to be ignored.
The increased travelling speed and range allows you to cast Thornwood Vine more
precisely, while the increased vision radius allows you to spot enemies earlier.
Boundless Stride provides Lunara with a reliable source of extra mobility, which
can be a valuable asset against high-mobility Heroes like Illidan or
Genji. If
Unfair Advantage was taken at
Level 16, Boundless Stride can proc its extra damage even more frequently,
thanks to the Slow applied by
Leaping Strike.
Intensifying Toxin amplifies Lunara's damage on targets that
are affected by 3 Stacks of
Nature's Toxin. Thanks to Talents like
Splintered Spear at Level 7, spreading poison damages should not
be too hard. As such, Intensifying Toxin becomes quite a reliable Talent in the late game.
This Talent synergizes very well with Lunara's other Talents.
Galloping Gait adds an incredible amount of mobility
to Lunara's kit. The 80% Movement Speed increase allows her to outrun every Hero in
the game, which can be used offensively and defensively. Against teams with
several Tanks and Melee Assassins,
in particular, this Talent allows Lunara
to survive on the battlefield and keep a healthy distance to enemy initiators.
