List of Runic Invocations for Runemaster
Runic Invocation is a spell accessible only to Runemaster in Last Epoch. This spell
has a total of 40 different iterations based upon the spells used prior. This page is a comprehensive
list of every possible spell that can be created with Runic Invocation.
Runic Invocation Information
Added in Patch 0.9.2, Runes of Power, Runemaster has given the
game a fresh style of gameplay, bringing the greatest opportunity for customization and skill expression
that the game has seen yet. The main skill that facilities such a unique gameplay experience is
Runic Invocation. This skill works by granting the player an elemental rune every time they
cast a spell of the corresponding element. The three elemental runes are:
- Heo Rune — Cold aspected
- Gon Rune — Lightning aspected
- Rah Rune — Fire aspected
Runic Invocation can be used with any amount of elemental runes, and any combination.
Every combination will cast a different spell when Runic Invocation is used, resulting in 40 different
spells that can be used. The purpose of this page is to showcase every single Invocation, as shown
below. Simply select the element type you're interested in, followed by the specific spell you'd like to
know more about.

Rune Combination: None
Wordless Invocation — Grants a burst of Ward; Ward gained is equal to 80 plus 1 per Intelligence.
This is the spell that is cast when you use
Runic Invocation without having a single elemental rune stocked.

Rune Shard — Cast a swirling, piercing rune shard that can hit an enemy multiple times.

Dragons' Breath — Deals Fire and Cold damage to all enemies in a cone in front of you.

Rune Combination: Gon Rune — Heo Rune
Unvar's Shatter Bolt — Hurls an arcane bolt that rapidly ricochets between enemies, dealing
cold damage on hit and creating a small lightning explosion. The bolt can hit the same enemy
multiple times. Its hits have a freeze rate of 80. The lightning explosions hit the original target that caused
them and enemies in a small area around them.

Unvar's Ice Glyph — A burst of frost that grants 20 ward on hit and has a freeze rate of 100.

Revik's Blizzard — Creates a blizzard at the target location that deals cold damage over time
and chills enemies every second. Has a freeze rate of 100 per second.

Swirling Frost — Creates a cold damage over time aura around the caster.
Has a freeze rate of 100 per second.

Rune Combination: Heo Rune — Rah Rune — Heo Rune
Reowyn's Frostguard — Grants you a shield of mystic frost which grants 30% less damage taken (multiplicative with
other modifiers) and +100% Freeze Rate Multiplier. The shield grants you a large burst of ward immediately and a smaller amount of
Ward every 0.4 seconds. If you run out of Ward the shield breaks immediately. Otherwise it lasts 13 seconds. Initial Ward
granted: 120 + 6 per Intelligence ward every 0.4 seconds: 20 + 1 per Intelligence When the shield expires it deals a burst of
Cold damage to enemies around you. This burst has a freeze rate of 100.

Reowyn's Doomfrost — Conjures ice glyphs around up to three target enemies. After a short delay the glyphs detonate, dealing Cold
damage to all enemies around the targets. Enemies can be hit by multiple detonations.

Freezing Cascade — Unleashes a cascade of icicles. Enemies can be hit by more than one icicle and each hit has a Freeze Rate of 100.

Rime Spiral — Releases a barrage of frost arrows that travel in a spiral. Each enemy can only
be hit at most once every 0.3 seconds. The hits have a Freeze Rate of 70.

Wave of Frost — An expanding wave that deals cold damage on hit with a Freeze Rate of 100.

Antipode of Mesembria — Creates an antipode at the target location. After a few seconds it pulls in all enemies around it and explodes.

Grand Prism Nova — Create a massive burst of Fire, Cold, and Lightning damage that hits all enemies around you.

Crackling Glyph — Places a lightning glyph on the ground that explodes after a short duration.

Unvar's Shockwave — Creates a rapidly expanding circle that deals lightning damage on hit.

Dancing Sparks — Creates a burst of erratic projectiles that deal lightning damage on hit and grants you ward on hit.
The ward gained is equal to 10 + 1 per intelligence. Multiple projectiles cannot hit the same target.

Sea of Sparks — Creates a series of sparks under nearby enemies that explode after a
short duration. Multiple explosions can hit the same target.

Ball Lightning — Creates a slow moving orb in the target direction. Four times a second lightning arcs from the orb to up to 7 enemies
around it, dealing lightning damage.

Vilatria's Storm Lance — An intense beam of lightning that hits all enemies in a line in
front of you. The beam has 100% base Critical Strike Chance, meaning that it always crits unless the
target has Critical Strike Avoidance.

Lightning Web — Lightning repeatedly arcs between enemies around the target. Each enemy can be hit up to three times.

Rune Combination: Heo Rune — Heo Rune — Gon Rune
Covenant Arc — Lightning arcs between allies and enemies around the target location. Enemies hit take Lightning damage.
Allies hit gain a buff that grants +100% Chance to Shock on hit and +10 Lightning Damage for spells and attacks. This buffs last 4 seconds
and can stack multiple times, but each target can only be hit once per second. Allies hit also gain Frenzy for 4 seconds. Frenzy is a buff
that grants 20% increased attack and cast speed, and does not stack. The lightning can arc to you and buff you, but only if you're close
enough to the target location or to another target to which it has already arced.

Rune Gale — Releases an expanding aura that grants you haste. When the aura hits enemies it shocks them and deals
Lightning damage. After 1.5 seconds the aura begins to retract and after 3 seconds it detonates dealing lightning damage to enemies in a
small area around you. Enemies can only be hit by the aura once, but can be hit by both the aura and the detonation.

Echoes of Thunder — Creates a series of lightning explosions around the target location and enemies
surrounding it. Each enemy can only be hit by one explosion.

Il'kir's Storm Star — Lobs a whirling projectile at the target location. It deals Fire Damage on impact and creates
several wild sparks that move randomly and deal Lightning Damage over time to enemies around them.

Elemental Tide — Creates three cold explosions, then four fire explosions, and then
five lightning explosions in concentric half rings in front of you. Cold explosions have a freeze rate of 80.
Multiple explosions can hit the same target.

Trinity of Elements — Creates three elemental beams that rotate around you. The cold beam has 100 freeze rate per second.

Twin Embers — Fires two embers in a spiral, each one deals Fire Damage on hit. Each target can be hit no more than once per 0.3 seconds.

Plasma Blast — Blasts the target enemy with an arc of plasma, dealing Lightning Damage on hit, igniting them and applying
spreading flames. Applies 7 stacks of Ignite, and Ignite applied this way has 70% increased duration and +70% fire penetration.

Unvar's Eternal Embers — Fires two embers which swirl in the shape of an infinity, dealing Fire Damage on hit.
Each target can be hit no more than once per 0.3 seconds.

Aergon's Greater Fireball — Hurls a burning orb that explodes at the target location, releasing a pair of spiralling embers.
Enemies can be hit by the orb, explosion, and embers independently. The embers can hit the same target multiple times, but no more than
once every 0.3 seconds. The explosion also applies spreading flames, an ailment that deals fire damage over time and does not stack, but
spreads between enemies.

Winds of Eos — Conjures a fiery explosion, dealing Fire Damage to enemies it hits and granting you Frenzy and 4 stacks of Fire Aura
for 4 seconds. Frenzy is a non-stacking buff that grants 20% increased attack and cast speed. It lasts 4 seconds when gained this way. Fire Aura deals Fire
Damage over time in a small area around you.

Aergon's Mirror Bolt — Conjures a fire bolt which repeatedly bounces between enemies and allies,
dealing Fire Damage to enemies it hits, and granting ward to allies it hits. Whenever it ricochets you gain Ward.
Ward gained by Allies hit: 20 + 1 per Intelligence Ward gained on Ricochet: 30 + 1.5 per Intelligence.

Realms of Mayhem — Conjures three glyphs in a line in front of you, which explode after a brief delay, dealing Cold, Lightning,
and Fire Damage respectively. Enemies can be hit by more than one glyph. The cold glyph has a freeze rate of 100.
