Players Are Just Now Noticing This Stash QoL Feature in Last Epoch

Last Epoch - ARPG - Gameplay

Even some longtime Last Epoch players are only now discovering the stash tab priority checkbox, a feature that has quietly improved inventory management since patch 1.1.7 (Imperial Uprising). A recent Reddit post brought renewed attention to it, with the author stating: “How did I JUST NOW notice this?”

As it turns out, there are quite a few players who were previously unaware of this function.

If you missed it too, here is how it works: You can assign priority to stash tabs, and when you shift-click items from your inventory, they will automatically go to the right tab based on those priorities. Think of it as a loot filter for your stash; no more dragging every item into place manually.

The feature was added during the big stash overhaul update, but unless you followed patch notes or spent time exploring the system, it was easy to overlook.

Players Love It, But Want More

Responses to this stash feature in general, as well as in the above-mentioned Reddit thread, have been overwhelmingly positive, with players saying this one feature has made organizing loot far more bearable. Some even called it one of Last Epoch’s best quality-of-life additions.

That said, there is still room for improvement, as some players did experience stash bugs when dragging items too quickly, and others asked for:

  • More stash tab icons for easier visual sorting
  • A global way to apply stash filter setups
  • A more responsive interface when moving lots of items

The thread also caused some side discussion about Last Epoch’s overall endgame pacing, with players expressing both appreciation for target farming and a desire for more variety compared to Monolith spamming.

Still, small improvements like this stash system show just how much Last Epoch continues to evolve. If you have not tried it yet, give your stash a second look; your future self might thank you.
