Arthetinean Skill Machinist Guide for Lost Ark
High-tech and style combine to make Machinist a force to be reckoned with. Equipped with a SMG and their drone, this class is also capable of going full-robot mode with the Hypersync ability. Machinist conquers its enemies with Joint, Drone, or Sync skills.
Arthetinean Skill Machinist: Skill Builds and Rotations
If you're looking for further information on the Arthetinean Skill build for Machinist, the following links will provide that for you.
Arthetinean Skill Machinist Strengths and Weaknesses
- Slightly higher damage ceiling over Evolutionary
- High uptime on party synergy
- Flexible class with fast passed gameplay loop
- Without a shield like Evolutionary, it's even more squishy
- Harder gameplay loop, constantly using and recalling drone
- More expensive to build between the two, needing more gems and tripods
Chaos Dungeon Skill Build
Raid Skill Build
Like some other classes, Arthetinean Skill can take different amounts of skills within builds. "422" and "332" refer to how many Normal, Drone & Joint skills taken in a build. Tpyically "442" is a more comfortable build with "332" having a theoretical higher DPS ceiling but has higher requirements to function properly.
Arthetinean 442
The standard option between both builds, this offers consistent damage with little worry about managing your Battery. Instead of taking another Drone skill, you'll opt for Strategic Fire which will make you stationary for a moment. A downside is having more skills with Back Attack positionals, putting a tad bit more emphasis on hitting those. Generally you'll want to deploy your Drone and use Normal skills, recalling your Drone via a Joint skill or pressing X. Overcharged Battery grants you 14 seconds of +6% damage Synergy in which you should be able to cycle through all your skills before it expires. Mobile Shot serves as a very useful animation cancel! It refreshes your Reload buff and also has speed bonuses through tripods that are activated per roll. You should hold subsequent rolls either as an escape tool or filler DPS while other skills are on cooldown. Given how encounters are in Lost Ark, following a strict rotation is just not possible. That being said, there are priorities you can keep in mind when playing to help provide some comfiness and an average DPS increase.
- Annihilation Mode & Energy Buster are your highest DPS skills, but also have the longest cooldowns. Usually ending cycles with Energy Buster helps your cooldowns roll a bit longer, making these line up better.
- Mobile Shot's Move Speed buffs ensures you're capped on Raid Captain's damage bonus. It lasts for 6.0 seconds so you can cycle about three skills during this time.
- You can pair up Command: Raid Missile and Strategic Fire and they'll come off cooldown around the same time.
Arthetinean 332
This build comes with a potential higher DPS ceiling at the cost of increased Battery consumption and a more punishing rotation. Replacing Strategic Fire with Command: Carpet, which is a damage increase assuming you can land at least three bombs. Otherwise, you'll be dealing less damage than a "422" build. You'll be required to use Conviction / Judgment and have high level Battery saving tripods to maintain skill uptime. Not only that, but food is recommended to also help with your resource economy. Compared to "422" this rotation is faster and doesn't have as high committment on its skills. Given the strict requirements that this build has in order to outperform the other, it's not quite as popular. Like the other build you do not have a set rotation, but an example damage cycle can be seen below.
- Use Overcharged Battery for Synergy and Mobile Shot for the speed buffs.
- Command your Drone with Command: Raid Missile then use Avalanche.
- Summon Command: Baby Drones and use the second Mobile Shot.
- Use Command: Carpet and Mobile Shot again.
- End the cycle with Annihilation Mode & Energy Buster
