Shock Training Scrapper Gearing Guide for Lost Ark
Punching their way through enemies, Scrapper uses the Heavy Gauntlet weapon to pulverize their opponents. Scrapper utilizes a dual-energy system as their Identity, split between Stamina and Shock resources. Scrapper comes in two different playstyles, Taijutsu and Shock Training.
Shock Training: Accessories, Card Sets, Engravings and Gearsets
There's not a ton of options to choose from for Shock Training Scrapper. Since the majority of your damage scales extremely well with Specialization, all builds will focus on this stat, with a bit of Crit sprinkled in to balance our damage out. Keep in mind, this class has a requirement of back attacks, so everything you build towards should be catering to positionals.
Card Sets
Card sets are shared across both engravings for Scrapper. In the early game you can use cards that help with survivability such as Field Boss II, We'll Meet Again and Forest of Giants. For optimal damage you'll want Light of Salvation at 18 or 30 Awakening, though is quite a late game goal. Lostwind Cliff provides additional Critical Rate and is a solid stand-in as you gradually work towards Light of Salvation.
Engravings
Most of the Engravings listed here are mandatory. The fifth one you choose will be dependent upon which build you've chosen based upon substat allocation.
Engraving | Priority | Description |
---|---|---|
Shock Training | High | You need this for the build to function. Anything under level 3 will suffer immensely from lack of Shock Meter. |
Grudge | High | A staple in damage builds. Every DPS class in this game takes it, Scrapper being no different. Since Scrapper has a naturally high defense rating, you won't suffer too much from this. |
Master of Ambush | High | As with any Earth's Entropy user, this only amplifies our positional damage further. Every single skill in this build has a back attack modifier. This Engraving is a requirement. |
Adrenaline | High | It is extremely easy to upkeep Adrenaline stacks with Scrapper. Charging Blow alone has a low enough cooldown to maintain stacks even without a target. |
Keen Blunt Weapon | Optional | This is the preferred choice if you add a little extra Crit into your accessories. |
Cursed Doll | Optional | Should be taken with the full Specialization build. Keep in mind, you're stuck with the healing debuff if you decide to use this. |
Gearsets
Starting in Legendary gear, you'll want the Preordained Diligence set from Argos to give you additional Critical Rate. You can use the 2-piece gear from Valtan Normal but it's only recommended if you intend on parking your character at 1415. Once you obtain Relic gear, Earth's Entropy is the only choice that should be considered seriously.
Accessories and Stat Distribution
There's not much option here. The two stat setups are Specialization, or more Specialization. The higher Crit set may be easier to build due to lower gold requirements.
