10 Million Milestone Free Item Pack

In order to commemorate the 10 million milestone, the Monster Hunter Wilds team will release a free item pack for everyone! There is no information yet on the content of the pack or how you can claim it, but more will be released soon, so stay tuned if you want to grab some freebies!

Future Planned Updates

On top of the two free title updates we already know of, the Monster Hunter Wilds team has added information on their Roadmap regarding future content! They based themselves on a lot of player feedback, decided to add new features, and made various improvements and changes.

On top of the First Free Title update on Friday, April 4th, 2025, and the release of Mizutsune & the Grand Hub, they decided to add various game adjustments. Another update is also planned for the end of May, with the second Free Title update releasing over the summer, and of course, more free title updates that will be added after that!

You can take a look at the new roadmap here:

About Challenging Monsters

More challenging monsters will be added with future updates. For the time being, we only have Tempered Arkveld. However, future updates will include more Tempered monsters, and this starts with Mitzutsune!

Mizutsune will be unlocked at HR21+, and Tempered Mizutsune will unlock at HR41+. It will also be available as an Environmental Overview hunt.

Of course, Zoh Shia also makes his appearance as a repeatable hunt, but it does not seem to be tempered yet.

On top of that, Arch-Tempered monsters also join the roster, with Rey Dau being the first one. This hunt will only be part of a limited-time event quest that will start on Wednesday, April 30th. After that, it will also appear as a Free Challenge Quest starting Wednesday, May 7th!

You have to be HR50+ if you want to get access to those quests and earn the rewards!

End of May Update

As mentioned before, an additional update will be made in May. This one will add the following content:

All these monsters will receive adjustments accordingly to make them more resilient, such as increased health, resistance to wounds, and multiplayer scaling adjustments.

Balance Adjustments

After taking into account a lot of player feedback, the Monster Hunter Wilds team has decided to make various modifications to the game, including some balance changes.

Those will be implemented gradually with each upcoming update, so don’t expect everything to release at once. However, here are a few features you can expect to see in the future:

  • Weapon balance: Especially some changes regarding the Hammer, and overall weapon balance modifications.
  • Anything unintentionally overpowered will be adjusted downward, but other things will be buffed on the other side. The goal is to get closer to a more balanced version of things.
  • Corrupted Mantle: This mantle causes more damage than intended, forcing players to pick this one. The effect of the Corrupted Mantle will be adjusted downwards, while other Mantles will be adjusted upwards.

Quality of Life Improvements

On top of the balancing changes, you can also expect various Quality of Life (QoL) adjustments and modifications. Once again, the Monster Hunter Wilds team based themselves on a lot of player feedback for this. Of course, this list is not complete, and many more things can change in the future, but here are a few things you can expect:

  • The Grand Hub: a lot of functions will be available in one place, allowing you to always be able to come back to a single place.
  • Reduced the waiting time when accessing facility functions in each locale.
  • UI/UX adjustments: The goal is to make it easier for players to access the information they need on the UI/UX.
  • Easier ways to restock items.
  • Checking skill information.
  • Participating in multiplayer quests, overall multiplayer adjustments.
  • Using the Seikret.
  • Camera behavior during hunts.
  • Improving game stability, especially on the Steam version.
  • Game cycle balance adjustments.
  • Some often-requested features will be added in the future as well, such as a preview of each endemic life you have captured.
  • Layered weapons will be coming soon as well!

As you can expect, more and more features will be added to Monster Hunter Wilds in the future. The goal is to make the game more enjoyable for all hunters with free content updates!
