With the First Free Title Update launching in just a few days, it is a good time to remind you about the squad function in Monster Hunter Wilds! The Squad Information Counter will move to the Grand Hub with the new update, giving you better access when you need to manage your Squads!
What Is the Squad
Squads are your Monster Hunter Wilds “guild” function. Joining a squad is a good way to make it easier to socialize with other hunters or take on group hunts!
With squads, you can set-up specific members-only lobbies or post messages inside a specific chat for the squad that will not disappear once you log out.
You can either join an existing squad or create one for you and your friends.
In order to do so, you need to visit Felicita, the Squad Information Counter. Up until now, Felicita is located only in the Windward Plains Base Camp. However, once you unlock the Grand Hub with the free title update, she will move there.
How to Join or Create a Squad
First, you need to head to the Squad Information Counter and select Manage Squads.
If you want to join an existing squad, you can either accept an invitation from someone or follow the next few steps:
- Visit the Squad Information Counter
- Info
- Squad Management
- Use the Search Feature to look for squads that are seeking new members
- Apply to it
- Wait for your application to be accepted
If you want to create your own squad, you have to do the following:
- Visit the Squad Information Counter
- Info
- Squad Management
- Pick Begin New Squad
- Create your Squad
- Choose the name, the squad policies and rules, and pick a squad emblem and base icon
- Validate
Each squad can contain up to 50 players, and each player can join a total of 8 different squads at the same time. If you have more than one squad, you can pick your active squad by going into your Menu, Info, and Squad Management.
