Capcom Collab Confirmed Ahead of MH Wilds’ Summer Update

Capcom has recently confirmed that a new Monster Hunter Wilds update is coming at the end of May, and it will include a crossover with one or more other Capcom titles. This is separate from the big summer update that adds the next monster and storyline content.

Details on the collaboration have not been revealed yet, but based on past Monster Hunter events, players can likely expect themed quests, layered armor, or cosmetic rewards tied to other Capcom franchises like Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, or even Resident Evil. These types of collaborations have been a fan-favorite in previous games, often bringing cool gear or fun challenge hunts.

What Could the Capcom Collab Bring This Time?

Although the summer update will bring the next big monster and story progression, it is the May update that has hunters quite excited because it includes a Capcom crossover. No exact details have been shared yet, but past Monster Hunter collabs give us plenty of reasons to get hyped.

In previous titles, Capcom has delivered some wild and stylish content:

  • Street Fighter V gear and emotes
  • Devil May Cry’s Dante armor and sword
  • Mega Man themed Palico costumes
  • Even a Metal Gear Solid stealth suit and cardboard box in Monster Hunter Peace Walker (Japan-exclusive)

If this new crossover follows that tradition, we could be looking at limited-time quests, unique layered armor, and cosmetic gear tied to classic Capcom franchises. It might even be the first time some of these sets return in HD with next-gen visuals.
