MH Wilds Reveals Major Changes to Challenge Quest Rewards!

Challenge Quests were introduced to Monster Hunter Wilds with Title Update 1. Players have voiced their concerns about the rank-specific rewards, which are nearly impossible to obtain. In order to give all hunters a fair and reasonable chance to earn event rewards for the ongoing Challenge Quest “Doshaguma of the Hollow“, Capcom has announced some important adjustments!

Challenge Quest Rewards Changes

The conditions for obtaining rewards in the challenge quest have been updated as follows:

  • Mark of Contest Pendant: Participate in the quest
  • Mark of Bravery Pendant: Participate in the challenge
  • Mark of Mastery Pendant: Reach Rank A (complete the hunt in under 3 minutes)

The Future of Challenge Quests

Moving forward, future Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests in Monster Hunter Wilds will no longer feature rewards tied to specific leaderboard ranks. While the Expedition Record Board rankings will still be viewable as usual, rewards will now be more accessible to all players.

These changes were made to make sure that every hunter has a fair shot at earning all available rewards. Previously, requiring specific rankings excluded too many players — even those achieving high scores. Now, as long as you reach A-Rank, you can obtain the rewards.

More information on future Challenge Quests and events will be shared soon, so stay tuned for more!
