Monster Hunter Wilds’ Free & Paid Cosmetics Revealed for Launch

Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds will have both free and paid cosmetic items when it launches on February 28, 2025. The paid content itself will be entirely cosmetic, but we will also get some free customization options, including gestures and character edit vouchers.

What Free Cosmetics Are Available?

At launch, you will be able to download a free pack of four gestures to use in-game. On top of that, character and Palico edit vouchers will be available as well, allowing you to change your hunter’s appearance after creation (should you wish to do so).

Here is what you can claim for free:

  • Four free gestures
  • One free character edit voucher
  • One free Palico edit voucher

All of these items will be available on each platform’s digital store, so make sure to grab them once the game launches!

What About Paid Cosmetics?

Capcom has also confirmed that paid items will be cosmetic only, meaning they will not affect gameplay in any way. These items will be included in the Deluxe and Premium Deluxe Editions of the game, so players who purchase those versions will already have access to them.

More Customization Options Incoming?

Details on additional cosmetic items are still limited, but this confirms that Monster Hunter Wilds will offer more ways to personalize your hunter and Palico. In any case, if you want a free makeover with the edit voucher or plan to grab extra cosmetics, there will be plenty of options to customize your character at launch.
