Monster Hunter Wilds is going to release in one week, on February 28, 2025, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). Capcom has now confirmed the exact preload and launch times for each platform, so you can prepare for the hunt as soon as possible.
Monster Hunter Wilds Release Times
The release timing varies depending on your platform:
- Consoles – PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X|S: Unlocks at 12:00 AM local time on February 28, meaning the game will go live at midnight in each region.
- PC (Steam): Global launch at 5:00 AM UTC on February 28 (check your local time conversion).
Monster Hunter Wilds Preload Schedule
To make sure that you are ready to jump in right away, preload times have also been announced:
- PlayStation 5: Preload begins 48 hours before launch in each region.
- Xbox Series X|S & PC (Steam): Preload starts February 25 at 9:00 PM PT, available globally at the same time.
If you are planning to play on PC (Steam), keep in mind that the game launches at a fixed UTC time, so your exact launch time will depend on your timezone.
