Monster Hunter Wilds is introducing a new Photo Mode, which will let you capture your greatest hunts like never before! You can either show off a fresh kill, take in beautiful landscapes, or freeze the action in the middle of an intense battle! Regardless of what you plan on capturing with the photo mode, this feature gives you the tools to create awesome images. It offers adjustable camera angles, depth of field control, and the ability to pause the game in online single-player mode!
The New Photo Mode – Features & How It Works
Capcom is adding various different customization options to help you capture the perfect moment:
- Adjustable Camera View – Move and position the camera freely.
- Depth of Field Control – Blur or sharpen the background for a dramatic touch.
- Pause in Online Single Player – Stop the action at the perfect moment to take a cinematic shot.
Taking pictures might not be everyone’s biggest interest, but there are plenty of players out there who have been asking for a photo mode for quite a while. After all, it’s a lot of fun to share screenshots with friends or on social media. With these tools, you can take high-quality screenshots of monsters, landscapes, and your most epic moments!

Why This Feature is a Big Deal
Monster Hunter games always had breathtaking environments and massive creatures, and now players can truly show some of their best moments. Some past Monster Hunter games, like Rise and World: Iceborne, had similar features, but Wilds takes it up a notch with even more advanced options. On top of that, the new photo mode is especially great for content creators or visual photography; basically anyone looking for high-quality captures!
