Where to Find Your Hunter ID in Monster Hunter Wilds (And How to Share It)

If you are playing Monster Hunter Wilds and want to team up with friends, you will need your Hunter ID. Unlike your username, which you can change, your Hunter ID is a fixed code that lets others find and add you for multiplayer.

But where do you actually find it? To answer this question, we have compiled a quick guide on how to check and share your Hunter ID.

Where to Find Your Hunter ID

Your Hunter ID is a unique mix of letters and numbers assigned to your character. There are a few ways to check it:

  • On the Data Selection Screen – Your ID should be listed under your character name.
  • In Your Hunter Profile:
    • Open the main menu
    • Go to the Information tab
    • Select Hunter Profile
    • If you do not see the ID, look for the option to toggle it on (a small button on the left should say “Toggle Hunter ID”).
  • In the Player List:
    • Open the main menu
    • Go to the Communications tab
    • Select Player List
    • Your name will be at the top, together with your Hunter ID.

Why Is Your Hunter ID Important?

Your Hunter ID is necessary for online multiplayer. You will need it to:

  • Invite friends and join their sessions
  • Add players to your friend list
  • Find and connect with other hunters

Since your username can change but your Hunter ID is permanent, this is the best way for others to find you in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Now that you know where to find it, go ahead and share your Hunter ID so you can start hunting with friends!
