Named Items Guide for New World: Aeternum
Once you hit level 65 in New World: Aeternum, you will likely begin to focus on perfecting your build(s). Instead of investing a large amount of gold and resources, there is actually a good chance that the exact weapon, armor piece, or jewelry piece you're looking for can simply be dropped and upgraded from an enemy.
In this guide, we will share the best Named Items for each type of character, including what the two locked perks are on each item, and where you can find them. Additionally, we will share how you can take these items and upgrade them to 700 gearscore at the Gypsum Kiln.

Upgrading Named Items
Once you obtain a named item, there's a very high chance it will not be 700 gearscore, and an even higher chance it won't have all three perks you're looking for. In order to upgrade your named item (or Artifact), and gather the perks you're looking for, you will need to gather a handful of materials, including either a Armor Matrix, Weapon Matrix, or Jewelry Matrix (depending on the Named Item you are upgrading), Dark Matter, Gypsum Orbs, and lastly, Chromatic Seals. Once you have gathered these items, visit a Gyspum Kiln in any main city, and you will have the opportunity to upgrade the Named Item to 700 gearscore, where you will also be able to select the third perk for it yourself.
