The world in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is massive, and it is not just one big map. It is made up of large, separate regions, each with its own layout, routes, and hidden activities.
Here are a few tips that make exploration feel a little smoother:
- No horse auto-follow this time, but you can use Auto Run by double-tapping X.
- Use boats early: They are fast and open up new areas quicker than horseback.
- Hold left D-pad for Pathfinder mode, which gives you a better sense of direction without revealing everything.
- Synchronize viewpoints whenever you can to unlock fast travel spots.
- Territory Building unlocks a Hideout with +10% XP and important upgrades, so build it as soon as you can.
Also, a quick reminder: Do not wait too long to unlock Yasuke in Act 2! If you leave him under-leveled for too long, you will have to grind later.
