Dune: Awakening is launching May 20, but if you pre-order the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition, you can start exploring Arrakis five days early on May 15. The game is an open-world survival MMO set in the Dune universe, where players must manage resources, build shelters, and survive deadly sandstorms, enemy factions, and sandworms.

Pre-Order Rewards and Editions
Pre-ordering any edition of the game grants two cosmetic bonuses:
- Terrarium of Muad’Dib – An in-base display featuring the iconic desert mouse.
- Sunset Dye Swatch – A unique color palette for gear, vehicles, and armor.
However, only Deluxe and Ultimate Edition pre-orders come with the 5-day head start!

Classic Dune Music Returns In-Game
Fans of the original 90s Dune games will be glad to hear that their iconic soundtracks are back. Dune: Awakening includes tracks from Dune II: Battle for Arrakis and Dune: Spice Opera via its in-game radio system: the Communinet.
The Communinet features multiple radio channels, from sandstorm alerts and faction broadcasts to survival tips and music. One channel, Harvester Radio, is made for miners and explorers. You can even tune in to hear propaganda from the Atreides or Harkonnen.
And yes, that includes remastered tracks from Dune: Spice Opera, originally composed by Stéphane Picq and Philippe Ulrich. Sadly, Picq passed away earlier this year, but his work now lives on inside the game.
So, if you are planning to start your adventure on Arrakis soon, now is a good time to pick your edition and secure early access. This way, you will get to play before most others and enjoy some legendary music while dodging sandworms.
