With Castorice releasing in only a few days, Hoyoverse keeps sharing more and more trailers and teasers about her story, and her relation with Death itself. The latest teaser, which released today, is titled “Life Awakens from the Night“, and may be foreshadowing the upcoming main events of the story!

Who Is Castorice?
Castorice is the upcoming 5-star Quantum Remembrance character that will be available during Phase One of Honkai Star Rail version 3.2. Without revealing too much, Castorice is part of the Chrysos Heir on Amphoreus. Originally from Aidonia, she was seen as the goddess of death, a power that can be considered both a blessing and a curse. Her goal is to take the Death coreflame from the Titan Thanatos.
Castorice is a very introverted character, mostly due to her inability to touch anyone, as this would cause them to die. This curse forced her to always stay far away from others. The upcoming story will reveal much more about her past and her future!
What Can Castorice Do?
Gameplay wise, she is the first character with an active ability, even if she is not in your party. As long as you own Castorice, she will have the possibility to revive your allies from death. This will put them in a sort of “in-between” state. If the revived character gets healed or shielded, he will be revived and get his HP back.
Similar to the other characters from Amphoreus, she can also summon a memosprite: Netherwing. He will consume his own HP to deal damage to all enemies.
When Can You Pull for Castorice?
Castorice releases for phase one of version 3.2, which mean her banner will be up from April 8, 2025, until April 30, 2025!
