InZOI might be getting a furry upgrade soon. The official Twitter account recently shared a short teaser featuring a cat tree and paw prints. Strong hints that pets, or at least cats, could be coming in a future update. While nothing has been officially confirmed, the post has started plenty of speculation among fans.
Adding pets would be a major step forward for inZOI’s life simulation realism, especially for players hoping to recreate their day-to-day lives.
The game launched in Early Access on March 28 and has already seen strong community interest. Although its player count has cooled off a bit since launch day, it is still holding solid ground next to The Sims 4, a game with ten years of content updates and dozens of paid expansions.
Unlike The Sims 4, inZOI’s roadmap promises major content updates for free. In addition to pets, the developers have also confirmed features like freelancer careers, swimming pools, and more in future updates. You can see the full dev roadmap here:

If pets do arrive soon, it could give inZOI a strong bonus, especially for players looking for a more modern and budget-friendly life sim.
