Lost Soul Aside Delayed to August 29 for More Polish and Breathing Room!
The developers of Lost Soul Aside have officially announced that the game will now launch on August 29, 2025, instead of its previous release date on May 30. In a message to fans, Game Director Yang Bing said the team needs a bit more time to finish polishing the game and deliver the kind of experience they want on console.
Why the Delay?
The statement explains that Ultizero Games wants to match the standards they have set for themselves. That means spending a little longer on final polish and optimization, even if it means a short delay. The team also thanked players for their support and apologized for the wait.
Here is what they shared:
- The release has moved to August 29, 2025
- The delay gives the team more time to finish the game properly
- The original date was May 30 – exactly one month from now
- The developers thanked players and apologized for the delay
A Better Date for Release?
Some players pointed out that the new date might work out better in the end. Lost Soul Aside was originally releasing on the same day as Elden Ring Nightreign, which could have made things harder for a new IP to stand out. Now it has a bit more space, and the team has more time to polish the experience.
“Sad that Lost Soul Aside has been delayed, but it was releasing on the same day as Elden Ring Nightreign, so it was probably for the best” via Genki_JPN on X/Twitter.

Fans are still looking forward to the game’s release, just with a bit more patience now.
