A new Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 trailer was just released a few hours ago, and this one focuses on Maelle: The youngest member of the expedition team, eager to leave the city of Lumière behind and explore the world beyond.
The trailer was shown during the Future Games Show Spring Showcase and features narration by Jennifer English, who also voices the character in-game. It gives us a first glimpse into Maelle’s personal journey, her longing for freedom, and the emotional weight behind the expedition itself.
The trailer itself is rather short, but the tone and presentation already give a strong idea of what kind of story the game is trying to tell; poetic, surreal, and full of mystery.
